Well as HiaG appears to have fooked off and vacated his thread.

Ok, now I've not checked this precisely note for note, but at a glance, same musical theme, same notes (at the beginning at least), but both played the opposite side of fret 7 on the fret board, or whatever the correct term is for it...

Although they both use; the tab 8556 / CAAF

Just a whole tone between chords that fella. If you played that second chord shape one fret lower (instead of two) it would be a half tone and make the second a phrase minor key or blue note.

I'm sure the guy in the first vid has dropped part of the tab, very, very small part, but I'm sensing something missing. At the beginning they both repeat three times, but on the third time, the 2nd vid does a sort of walk up, just before they both go to the CAAF, and I'm not seeing it on the first, or im just missing it.

I didn't watch the 2nd vid I must admit, but it might just be a fill to announce the last bar of the phrase.

Sorry, don't actually know what fretting is, is it like ****ing, or eating a chicken curry pie?

You should start a The Other Guys Spiral Thread.

Although they would probably end up playing Glastonbury next year then.

Watched a program about the early days of punk the other night. The owner of CBGBs in New York had one rule for any band that played at the venue; they had to do their own songs, no covers. Interestingly, he thought Television, The Ramones, Richard Hell, Talking Heads and The Dead Kennedys were all ****. But the audiences kept coming back, and the bands got better. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Last Night Of The Proms could be facing a dramatic shake-up, with traditional anthems including Rule Britannia and Land Of Hope And Glory apparently under threat.

The culmination of the annual celebration of classical music is normally watched live by more than 6,000 fans (over 1,000 of them standing shoulder to shoulder) - but coronavirus means it will take place without an audience this year.

Both songs are favourites for Prom fans, who often enthusiastically wave flags and sing along - but according to The Sunday Times, BBC producers are currently in discussions about removing them from the setlist.

The debate is understood to have been initiated by the Black Lives Matter movement, with bosses reconsidering the songs' inclusion because of their perceived association with colonialism and slavery.

A completely made up story by a Murdoch paper, designed to provoke uproar.
