Good evening we are back it seems. Site been offline for a while but nice to see shakleton has signed a four year deal.

 

Was it Brighton who closed the website down
Nothing would surprise me
It’s to late for Ben White the whole thing has caused too much agro
And would cause too much discontent in the squad
Is this Brighton’s plan I will laugh like hell when they go down

 

If we don’t get a player in before preseason starts then forget seeing them in the squad until Christmas. Miss 3-4 weeks preseason and Bielsa seems to freeze them out for at least 3 months

 

So White is not for sale, say Brighton.
If it was me I would demand a big increase and slam in a transfer request.

They will mess up his career.

 

They got him young and every loan so far has been a step up from the last one, when Harry Kane was loaned to Millwall he had been at other clubs and never set the place alight but at Millwall he came of age and it was clear he was going to play at the highest level. Some of the big clubs have players that have played in loan for other clubs for years Josh Cullen is a West Ham player yet has been on loan for four years and counting, you have Man City’s Harrison for a third year, I am sure Leeds have some players that will be loaned out for a couple of years and if successful they will be part of the squad or get a good price for them.

 

Shouldn’t have moved on from 18, no one else has bid anything.

It’s deja vu though mate. Brighton said on day one he isn’t for sale, we did this with Che Adams too... What gets me is during lockdown we drew up a list of targets, is this list just drawn up blindly ignoring wages and if the club are actually willing to sell for a certain price?

Did the club contact Brighton and say “hey it looks like we’re going to get promoted, at what price would you consider selling white?” I assume we did and they said forget it, he isn’t for sale?

 

Agree. So why not just move on. Great as our fans are, we’re beginning to look embarrassing.

 

We wanted a loan to buy deal, they were adamant they didn't want to sell, surprised people are shocked by their stance tbh.

 

It also pisses me off that we get the U23s in early and fast but we can’t replicate that with first team players. Orta and his scouting network can’t find us someone as good as a Championship defender with one good season under his belt who can pass the ball? Every Leeds player is now a gamble, can they cut it in the PL? If they can’t we’ve not broke the bank but we seem willing to on Ben White.

He’s a real nice lad but has an absolute sense of worth, be interesting to see how he reacts to all this tosh.

Maybe we should just all relax a little.
Brighton have priced us out of the White deal,OK pity but let's move on.
Orta and Bielsa will have done their homework and will be scouring the globe.
Most transfers seem to go down to the wire,or last minute fax, just how it is.

Derby have secured a loan against their ground to ease money problems, but how did they do that, they sold it 18 months ago. currupt bastards should be kicked out of the EFL.

 

It will be interesting too know who supplied the loan and what the interest and repayment agreements are?
