Well if that's true, i am worried as Radz & Orta are not stupid they know that is far to much, possibly double or more of what he is worth, hmm does now make me wonder if the White deal is part of what's needed for Bielsa to stay, i am sure though that Bielsa would not hold Leeds to ransom, but it will be a bloody relief for all of us when he does sign, and put to bed all this wild speculation & conspiracy theories.

The longer this goes on, that is Bielsa not signing, the more wild the speculation will get, about time we had an announcement from LS11 putting us all in the picture.
Christ why is it always like this with Leeds ? .<grr>

We always do our dealing on the QT, including a lot of transfer prices - they're often 'undisclosed'. No need to inform anyone of what we're up to and who for and what we're bidding. Lot's of the 'news' being touted is speculation - 'according to' etc etc.

There is also the chance that Bielsa has signed but it’s not yet been announced.

With all the turmoil around massive transfer fees I feel the need to compare prices to what we already have. For example our most expensive player would be Bamford at £7m and you have to say that if Watkins is worth £25m then Bamford must be worth £20m

if we are expected to pay between £15m and £30m for a new Pablo, Eze, Buendia, Benrhama for example then it should follow that any of them must be a starter? And to be fair right now Pablo still gets the nod so either an old Pablo is worth £40m or the named players are way over priced.

We are being quoted £35m for Ben White a player with no Prem experience yet we can buy International CBs with plenty of pedigree for a third of the price. The old saying that we buy nobody unless they improve the team means simplistically a new player is a starter. The players we have signed are the players we had last season so we are still at a standstill and even White at that huge fee only gets us back to last season

Feel its high time the club came out and made a statement especially on White because if our transfer budget blown on him and we have a bad time or White gets made to look bad it wont be long before fans start getting on his back about not being worth the money

I think it was very honourable Of Ratz to say we are one big family so we must get White but to me this has got to stop can't they see they have only bid against themselves lets stop this now and move on
There are plaenty of players out there who could do a job and much cheaper too. What about Dickie from Oxford at £3m Belsa can soon have him into the way we play

Looks like young Fulham RB is signing today and although I expect him to start with the U23s he will be on the first team bench, which means we could be about to see the departure of Bryce Hosannah? BH is a speedster and a baller so this signing either means the kid can be a CB or LB otherwise BH must be leaving.

Joe Gelhart will get game time with the 23s but expect him on the first team bench too. Charlie Allen will be 17 soon and will be with the U18s but could find himself with the 23s just as young McKinstry did this year.

Bound to be some outs from the academy but will let you know in the above sticky when it happens

In a year or two, if he is then worth 50m, , then its good business.

So Brighton have turned down a third offer of £30 million. They obviously expect the richer clubs to pay £40m. Good luck with that. Time to move on.

We are being made to look like eejits by Brighton. We haven't got the money yet to compete with the top 6 or top 10 even. As much as I like him, we'd be better spending the money on a a couple of players. Brighton are taking the piss. The fact that they loaned him out so many times shows that they didn't regard him as highly until Bielsa got hold of him. He maybe under contract, but how many times have players broken them. If he really wanted to play for us, he'd be making a big noise about wanting to leave Brighton. Move on.<ok>
