Not really. They have put videos out in the last few weeks showing physio's wearing everything they need to to give treatment, it can not be 100% protected against, that is the nature of Covid. Just wish all players, staff, families a swift recovery

Good luck to all the players and staff tested positive.

This goes beyond any rivalries or opinions.

Of course I wish them all a swift and successful recovery too

However you can't ignore that the spread has happened in what should be a controlled environment, neither can you simply say 'that is the nature of Covid' In fact it's not far removed from Trump saying 'it is what it is'

They clearly could have done more, if thats where it spread, simple as that.

Whether they have followed the guidance, and that needs review, or whether they haven't the simple fact is it should be possible to run a physio facility without being blase that they've done everything they can because they put a video out after nearly 30% of the staff in one group got it!

Sorry but that is the nature of risk assessments ...and litigation too

What specifically have they been tested for, as quite a few are claiming that the test shows positive for all forms of the Covid virus, which includes the common cold.

Mind you, covid 19 virus is a long name, but then it's not as common as cold. :emoticon-0176-smoke

The Covid-19 test doesn't give a positive result on someone with a common cold (at least in the US, where this has been debunked after spreading online).

"A positive test result shows you may have antibodies from an infection with the virus that causes COVID-19. However, there is a chance a positive result means that you have antibodies from an infection with a virus from the same family of viruses (called coronaviruses), such as the one that causes the common cold."

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/testing/serology-overview.html#:~:text=A positive test result shows, that causes the common cold.

The issue is whether they've had a viral test or an anti-body test, hence my question.

    There's a difference between a Covid antibody test & a Covid test,

Surely they'd be having the test to make sure they haven't got it now, not one to see if they've had it in the past?

You’d presume they’d had viral tests as an antibody test would be pointless in this instance.

More to this story then they are making out at fc. Seems they knew the player was showing signs of having Covid what ever the night before he played. Then the players went to a BBQ together.
Looking out now for a huge brush and a carpet that can be lifted.
