He's got OCD so it wouldn't be beyond the realm of possibility. Since he's a coach not a manager he's not the one doing the deal.
oh he’s on the spectrum no doubt but he’s aware of financial constraints and value. If he sees we’ve genuinely bid well north of £20m he can’t question the intentions... and will want to do what’s best to strengthen the whole group. it’s clear though white is key to him, not just on ability but on the ‘tried and tested’ as part of the group ... that he puts such a high value on.
Shame I like the guy and he showed loyalty when others did not. Probably the right decision now we are in the prem, mind.
The one thing about Bielsa thats in his genes is player valuations and understanding the underlying intentions of the Board. If he even smells a rat he walks away and I believe that the manager and everyone on the Board are allon the same page. They are trying to get the players on his listsbut being a realist it must follow that unless a development happens in the White negotiations we must walk away as we need at least one CB who can do what White did and we need to be ready in 5 weeks. I see Carlos Corberan has taken one of the Academy analysts with him to Hudds the U23 analyst has joined him so we need a new U23 coach and analyst. Corberan has brought his former assistant from Saudi and Cyprus as well as another Spaniard who was manager in La Liga B.
None of us know what's going on behind the scenes, we may already have dropped our interest in Ben White & concentrating our efforts in other avenues. We need to act fast as everybody knows Bielsa likes to work with his squad for at least a month. God help us if the fixture list is cruel to us & we have to face three or four of the top six in our opening matches playing with a championship side
Agree, it would be better to go away and come back when we have all the answers, because most of this will turn out to be wrong.
Out of all the strikers mentioned there is only one who is in the papers every day and yesterday Nicolas Gonzales said he would love to come to Leeds and play for Bielsa. He also admitted that Leeds had not as yet tabled an offer but Stuttgart were keeping him involved. Gonzales an play anywhere up front and his main positions in order are left wing, CF and right wing. 14 goals and 3 assists from 27 games and fairly cheap price? I am putting a few quid on Leeds opening match being Brighton V Leeds
Maybe it's all smoke and mirrors and we'll end up with someone no one has mentioned like when we loaned White
Morning all. Leeds won the league by 10 points playing great football and yet you seem to critisise most of the team
Can you believe this:- In recent days, rumors have been circulating again relating to Nicolas Gonzalez , a profile already approached last summer at Sampdoria, a track already analyzed in the past in detail by our editorial staff . According to indiscretions collected exclusively by Sampdorianews.net, the Italian destinations are not currently current. Lazio's candidacy has cooled in particular after the Biancocelesti's attention focused on the David Silva front, there is a bit of skepticism on the chances of Sampdoria , recording only a survey so far not in depth, without sinking the blow as has already happened in the past. The profile of the Stuttgart forward is highly appreciated at Loco Bielsa, protagonist of Leeds' return to the Premier League , at this moment the destination that arouses the greatest charm.
I’m not so sure about this. Cooper is club captain and had two very good seasons, I think he deserves his chance and with a younger CB with more pace alongside him, whether that will be White or not, I think he’ll do a good job. I don’t think there’s much chance of us getting two CB’s. Cooper will be one of the first names on the team sheet, Casey and Struijk look to have been promoted to the first team so I think Bielsa will just want the 1 CB. Bielsa will also see Ayling as backup I would imagine.
The only teams crazy enough to go higher than that are the likes of Chelsea and City and if he joined either of those he’d hardly get a game
