Not really, we seem to target injury prone players/players that have had long term injuries because they're cheap.
Correct, as I said Ric, we know the reason why,, Ehab tries to get them on the cheap because of the injury, but most never fall for is.
Yeah,I wouldn't be in a hurry to hold him against his will..Stiff Little Fingers sang about him some years ago 'Suspect DeWijs'.(Device)!
I’d rather Greaves been first replacement rather than anyone else. Kid has a big future. We are just holding out for more money on De Wijs. There’s Burke, Tafa, Mcgloughlin De Wijs, Angus and Greaves. So don’t really need McDonald. De Wijs and Burke should be more than adequate for this league. They need to right the wrongs of last year. I don’t rate Tafa and I liked the Irish fella.
De Wijs will have had a relegation clause in his contract ctivated, so if his wages are cut then he can leave the club if a certain fee is met. It looks as of LA Galaxy don't want to pay the release fee and are trying to get him for a reduced fee. Does Ehab want another Henriksen situation on his hands again? Looks like a case of brinkmanship to me, and the last one hit Ehab's pocket rather hard - having paying Henriksen's increased contract for a further year and not getting a transfer fee for him.
LA Galaxy being very underhand in their dealings. Don't believe them, Don't believe them, Don't get bitten twice...
I agree with chesireles. What is the point of having a disgruntled player on the books. Ehab along with Grant have ****ed up big style. Rebuild with players that are committed.
HULL CITY ARE DELIGHTED TO HAVE COMPLETED THE SIGNING OF FREE AGENT MIDFIELDER RICHIE SMALLWOOD. The 29-year-old arrives at the KCOM Stadium on a two-year deal, with a Club option of a further year. Smallwood was on the books at Blackburn Rovers last season, with his three-year stay at Ewood Park coming to an end when he was released in July. He made a total of 87 appearances in a Blackburn shirt in all competitions, 52 of which came in an outstanding debut season in East Lancashire, playing a major role in Rovers’ League One promotion-winning campaign in 2017/18. Smallwood was also part of the Rotherham United side that secured promotion from the third tier of English football via the play-offs in 2013/14. Reflecting on the signing, Head Coach Grant McCann said: “We’re very happy to add Richie to the squad and I would like to take this opportunity to welcome him to the Club. “He’ll be a great addition to the group. He will put his foot in, challenge for every ball and compete for everything on the pitch. He’s a winner, a warrior and a real leader. “I’m sure our fans will love his endeavour, commitment and passion and I’m certain he will make a significant impact on the team this season. “We’ve got some good young players at this Club and they will also benefit massively from Richie’s experience, along with his footballing knowledge and know-how.”
About the same amount of games most of the lads performed decent during the last 8 months, so shouldn't be a problem. Spoiler: ... I actually think it's a decent signing
