I'd be gutted if Matip went. We also have Fabinho who can play there, don't see us buying in that position.
Robbos already the best lb in the league, he seems the type who thrives off pressure, Tsimikas is actual competition for his role,m and for me I can only see it pushing robbo to even greater heights as a player tbh he just seems the kinda guy to welcome Tsimikas like a best mate and secretly have a burning desire to prove he's 2nd to him
Can't see us not buying there. No easy Klopp will consider Fabinho as the official fourth choice, we've no one to replace him in CM. I like Matip but wouldn't be too bothered or surprised about him going. Gomez & VVD are clearly the first choice pairing and Joel isn't getting any younger
We nee a fourth centre back. That fab can cover there is great. Windy has played there as well. As long as it's not Rudiger, ffs. I like that Soupcan, or whatever his name is, that plays for Leicester. But we shouldn't pay over £20m for anyone - we don't need them that much.
I watched a video with a Greek football journalist , he himself is a Liverpool fan and said there's a massive Liverpool following in Greece and that most Olympiakos fans are also Liverpool fans - weird but true.
The only reason I'd by a shirt ,is so i could have soup can on the the back of it. Fantastic player is the soup
No need. The others can handle the defensive bit. Best defence in the PL, despite not being arsed for the last seven games. Oh, and last season as well.

While both campaigns were hugely successful, they did get lucky. If Robertson had picked up an injury, Liverpool would have had real problems. The Scot is a vital player, after all, and there wasn’t anyone at the club to replicate his play if he was out. James Milner can play left-back to a decent standard but he’s not the same. Left-back isn’t his favoured role and he plays it differently to Robertson, purely on account of being right-footed. Liverpool used to have the same problem on the other flank, too. Trent Alexander-Arnold was the only recognised right-back – Joe Gomez could cover but again, he’s better elsewhere. Fortunately, Neco Williams developed into a very good player. Enough so that he’s set for a five-year contract and should cover Alexander-Arnold for years to come. And with Kostas Tsimikas in the transfer window, they no have cover in both positions. Arguably, that completes the squad. A long time coming This is the first time Jurgen Klopp has a ‘complete’ squad. His first team is firmly established and successful but he hasn’t had cover for every position behind them. Now, though, he finally does. There’s Adrian in goal, Joel Matip at centre-half, and Williams & Tsimikas covering full-back roles. Liverpool have options all over midfield. Takumi Minamino finally offers a False 9 who can cover Roberto Firmino. Xherdan Shaqiri or Harvey Elliott should offer alternatives to Mohamed Salah, while Divock Origi does the same on the other flank. Now, that’s not to say that Liverpool couldn’t improve on certain players. They definitely could and, arguably, they’d benefit from an extra centre-half in support. But there are options. Klopp can afford to rest every single player in his squad and know that there’s a good fit to cover them. That’s a luxury he hasn’t had at Liverpool, even with the major trophies. There’s a reason they reportedly made a backup left-back their one transfer ‘leeway’ this summer. It’s the last position to complete the squad.
Matips going nowhere unless a ridiculous bid is offered imo, gini will also sign a new deal and if he don't well sell in Jan and recoup what we can. Not worried either way as we will have a contingency plan
I think Wijnaldum is just running his contract down, he's at an age where a big payday is sensible. Means he's with us for another season and a good player and moving on at the right time. Happy enough with it.
