I hope that he will develop into a “great” player. He has the talent and temperament. Let’s hope that he also has the “luck” or good fortune.
Agreed but to be fair, very few have! I for one would be happy for Amos to sign. He started the season well and I was quite impressed. Hes young, can be worked with but I would prefer to see him further forward rather than this holding type player. Some of his passing has been negative or can at times look negative but a choice between him over Cameron is a no brainer for me.
Me and the lad saw Amos in a pre season friendly at Oxford Utd and we thought he looked a decent player. Agreed I'd like to see him further forward and I'd pick my missus ahead of Cameron, who now looks awful.
To be honest, when I've seen him live hes been good yet ive often found myself shaking my head in dismay when watching him on tv. When I weigh it all up, I reckon he could infact just be the right sort of signing for us on a permanent basis.
It’s a curious one. Like a few on here I really didn’t like his throwing up of his arms and no chasing back when beaten by the West Brom player. But he is only 23 years old. We’ve had him all season to know his character and ability, so it’s not as if MW and the team are making a decision on scouting reports. He can improve I’m sure and the realisation of a drop down from Spurs will hopefully drive him to prove he can be a player who can play in the premier league. It will be interesting to know how much we end up paying for him.
I sincerely hope it’s **** all. He doesn’t merit much more. I’m only reassured by Warnock’s interest in him. Warburton has been sucking him off all season despite all evidence on the pitch.
I, too, was wondering whether he had a bit of the attitude: 'I'm a premier league player, what am I doing here?' about him. Maybe a permanent move will sort that out?
Looks like Warnock has jumped on the Keiffer Moore bandwagon now too Anything we do... Col...if your wife is better than Cameron, do think a few rumours in the right place, and Warnock would sign her (do youmind moving to Middlesboro)
You do wonder if everything we do, and Baadiff, the press automatically link Warnock out of lazy journalism. Or ... is it all true and it’s lazy management for our old friend/foe Colin.
Amos expected to be a QPR player by the start of pre-season according to this. Be happy if we can get Hugill back, but rich WHam asking for an extortionate fee for a player they've never played. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr...ate-loan-100820/amp?__twitter_impression=true
Why wouldn’t they pump up his valuation to use less cash to get Eze. Makes sense can we afford his wages as a permanent signing?
Sorry, I meant how they have treated him from Day 1 has been a bit odd. And no, definitely can't afford his full wages.
