That side of the business comes from BCFC, plus there will be the money to pay off LJ and JM to consider. Money to pay JM replacement etc.
The chances of DH being the next manager to push on and bring the fresh new air that SL claimed is more likely to not be as good as say a CH (not my choice) or as other people mentioned for the job. So like previously when we embarked from promoting within have more ex contracts to pay out all at BCFC running cost.

I would not be so high and mighty as to call Bristol City fans idiots because they have the right to express an opinion different from my own, the only idiots are the ones that suppress other peoples way of thinking, oppose yes, deny no,.

On your main point I agree Holdens family are precious and should not suffer pressure and threats of any sort, if it happens on here we all will attack it but it's up to Holden if he puts himself in a position to be publicly criticised.

If he says no he could basically be making himself unemployed. If he says yes then he'll be on good money, with the prospect of a big payout when he inevitably gets sacked. I would be surprised if he turned down a chance he is unlikely to get anywhere else.

Anyone who threatens someone’s family because they don’t like their football management, doesn’t deserve to be labelled as a football fan. In fact they are an embarrassment.

Totally agree, families are precious, should be valued and protected at all times, to be honest I've not any seen threatening behaviour against families ever on this forum by a Bristol City fan, if I did I would ban them instantly and it would and could lead to police actions.

Deletions and banning is a last resort or action but sometimes it's necessary for forum protection but threats and bullying is a real life activity and that is when police should be advised.

To be quite honest, I have now reached a point where I am totally bored with whole sorry saga!!

I suppose that someone will eventually be appointed and I'll probably see it first on the local TV news.

3rd or 4th hand from inside the club ( two separate sources one a junior player , the other non playing staff), dont think it was RR's brother, but everyone loves Dean, brilliant coach, LJ was the problem

It's a hot topic and it keeps the conversations flowing, I like forum activity, controversial and normal but this one has been running on and on, as an individual I do try to put differing football related articles and subjects up but at the moment all roads lead to Damascus I'm afraid.

Things should move on soon, try the transfer and rumour thread.

Nothing to do with the forum Wiz - I fully expect fans to converse, discuss, whatever, and long may it continue. It's a great site and whilst I don't contribute much, I do read most things, with the exception of some of JGF's ramblings of course!!

It's just that this episode is not going to cover the club in glory is it? I fully appreciate that none of us know exactly what is going on behind the scenes, but I find it incredible that having sacked LJ there wasn't a plan already in place to replace him. We're already three weeks into the transfer window and no-one at the figurehead to give us a clue what is going to happen this forthcoming season.

Rumour from a radio Bristol show with Gregor McGregor is an exciting DOF coming in.

I’d take big Sam for his football contacts, experience and he would certainly put us firmly into the sports pages.
Not sure about his style of football - doesn’t he like a more ‘direct’ approach? But hey, if ‘direct’ gets us promoted then bring it on!
