Can't remember who it was but their was a poster over the road who knew someone at the hospital they do the medicals a few years ago. He said at the time they get bookings quite often and sometimes nobody turns up. They are booked just in case everything goes as planned/hoped but it doesn't always do that
It’s just occurred to me that a medical for a football transfer would surely be classed as a non essential medical appointment, therefore surely it would have to be carried out at the academy etc, you are also correct, it may have failed, still not agreed terms, lots of potential outcomes, people are only just starting to restart cancer treatments I can’t see a footballer taking priority in these current times
Would be either private or club staff generally, there’s a hell of a lot goes into them but a lot of it isn’t strictly ‘medical’ as such, a lot of the tests would be done by fitness analysts and such.
My wife used to work at the Spire in Washington until a couple of years ago. Up until then at least they used to have the medicals there.
Very true but they'll still want detailed scans to look for potential issues in the muscles, ligaments etc.
He's claiming tomorrow morning now... I'm bailing out with Alan Nixon claims we’re talking to four players at the moment. ”Been talking to four ... contracts not too easy to sort right now for one reason or another."
