Well LJ may have split opinion, if this is true it won’t split the fan base , it will unite them against the appointment in my view . 5 weeks to appoint the assistant, your having a laugh .

 

Did they not learn anything with Tinnion and Keith Millen ?? obviously not

 

They won’t be able to hide behind , he was the ‘best candidate ‘ as they tried to suggest when they appointed LJ as everyone knows that’s complete nonsense . The only explanation really is he’s the only one that would accept the conditions the club set down , or the cheap option . Anything else they try to suggest will be laughed down .

As I previously stated , if I get the opportunity due to COVID to have my money back for my SC I’ll snap their hands off . I’m sure there are many others that will do the same. The annoying thing for me is I believe we are in a stronger position now to be attractive to decent managers than we have been for many years , it seems a wasted opportunity.

It seems everything that's been said about SL being a control freak who only employs Yes men is true after all.

I had always had more trust in him than that but this, if true, is the final straw.

It was hilarious 4 years ago asking us all to believe Junior was the second coming, this time he might even surpass himself.

 

I rather hope he does turn down the offer because does he really want to lead a team where he was obviously the cheap choice? My faith in SL has reached rock bottom and my opinion of MA is not worth saying right now. What a commitment to the supporters this appointment will be and the promises weren't worth the breath used to make them. Let's take this situation forward and ask how many managers worth their salt would apply for any future vacancy because of our clear dictates from senior management which after another fiasco prove some points that people have been voicing for quite some time?

I also wonder how the players that are up for contract renewal feel about this appointment and will it be a factor in their decisions because to me it clearly shows, yet again, about the commitment of our owner?

Reckon Holden will reject it especially if he looks on social media.
Lansdown has lost the fan base this is a slippery slope they are playing with- Going to get bumpy and nasty I reckon.

A golden opportunity to lead a championship club - perhaps into the Premiership?

don't be so upset onefor .. there is a saying...don't spoil the ship for an appe'th of tar … and that works both ways .. keep what you got, spend a few bob on a Holden replacement and save a million or 2 on a "wordly manager" who may upset the apple cart of 4 and half years and take us back [ gamble on or against ] to pre 2016!
