Benrama is what you get when you cross a Boufal with a Lemina. Ollie Watkins, on the other hand....

And then next year, Fulham and West Brom will go back down, and Norwich and Watford will come back up.

    Yawn.

I see those parachute payments are doing a great job at entrenching the positions of certain clubs

West Brom, with FIVE promotions to the Premier League, are the Yo-Yo Kings. Middlesbrough, Leicester, Palace, Sunderland, Norwich are all on FOUR.

Fulham have become a bit yo-yo lately, but to be fair, they were in the Prem for 13 consecutive seasons between 2001-2014, which is one season longer than our longest top-flight* run between 1992-2005

Smart money is on Norwich to bounce straight up again next season though.

    EDIT: *the Premier League years!!!

Although our top flight run was 27 years, with many of those years clearly being unofficial ones before the sport became professional corrupt

Brilliant news. I see the PFA want to challenge it though so will be interesting to see how this progresses.

You can’t unilaterally change a contract. Obvious the PFA would want to be consulted..,,,any union would.

I imagine it will apply to new contracts, so it will take a few years to work through.

Might be too little too late though as many clubs are seriously struggling for money.
