He has some defensive positioning to learn but he’s young. Has a lot of admirers and had a pretty impressive season all told. 30 mil is steep, especially if it’s more than half our transfer budget!
Ake went to City for 40 mill so for a player that can't get in the BHA side I'd say they're living in the football version of Disneyland. Maximum 10-15m
I recon 10-15 is about right if he doesn’t come back to Leeds I can see his career taking a nose dive Brighton need to start considering things other than their bank balance anyway I think they will be in the championship this time next year
£15m is too steep for my liking, is he worth 3 x Pontus? I think he ‘could’ turn into an excellent player but I wouldn’t even say he is that far ahead of Struijk, I actually prefer Struijk on his limited display

Central defenders generally cost big bucks and mature. White is 22. Think 15m would be very good business after the season he’s had. Pontus was 28 when we sold him and very good championship player that he was, was prone to match costing errors more regularly than his many admirers were prepared to admit. Might be why the premier didn’t come callIng and he went for championship money to a championship club. strujik looked ok as a makeshift dm - looks a bit light on pace to me, but don’t think many of us have seen enough to form an educated opinion - me certainly!
He’s clearly behind both Ben White and Liam Cooper in the championship so can’t see him being first choice this season. As others have said, 20 mil (dependent on wages) would be better value for John Stones.
Ben White has had a great season but he has never played in the PL //I think that Brighton realise this and are trying to get the price up because of our support for him to me no more than 10m Gonzales another player who maybe over priced 10m tops
