Looks like Middlesbrough also want Amos. Go away, Boro. We wanna be sweet with QPR to get first dibs on Eze.
Yeah, which is why we want Boro to keep going after him. Bumps his value up and makes QPR happier that they're our preferred destination.
If Bailey is looking to become a naturalised Belgian, and remember he does still live in Gent, he won't be going anywhere until January 2022 at the earliest
I can't say I'd call myself in the know, but..I thought at first he was the kind of industrial (or agricultural...) DM useful in the PL. The more I've looked into it, the more impressed I am. Guardiola thought he could be Bayern's Busquets. He led the PL in ball recoveries last year. He was captain of a team that did much better than anyone expected. He's an all around CM who had many more tackles and interceptions than any of our CMs. He doesn't have the talent of Ndombele, certainly. But Liverpool just won the PL with a bunch of cloggers in midfleld. I think Hjobjerg is the right midfielder at the right price. Incidentally, I'm in the minority in believing talent isn't the problem. The problems are the related ones of belief, identity and organization*, and Hjobjerg should help with all of them. *And fullbacks. Spurs need two fullbacks who can stretch defenses. Aurier is the only one who has a history of doing that and he may be headed elsewhere. Sessegnon has potential, and he may be heading out on loan.
time it is taking to close the deal for Hojbjerg we might say no deal we will keep him for another season
Castagne's name has bubbled up once more, which just so happens to coincide with Aurier to Milan looking like a goer
It's been a few days and it looks like it's done, already. Feel free to give him to us on a free next year, though.
Levy best hurry up and get that deal done now that SFC4BAG is threatening to pull the plug on it. No time to waste!
You are screwed girl,in more ways than one....unhappily! Probably wishes she'd never set foot in America!!!!
Don't get too excited. We sold a load of class to bigger clubs.....VvD, Mane etc. You won't find many Saints fans mourning the loss of Hojberg. No gripe against Spurs but he's bang average.....sorry
You forgot Bale. As for Hojbjerg, we'll see whether he's worth the £15m or whatever it is we end up paying for him. We desperately need a holding midfielder and I doubt we've got a lot of money to spend this summer.
