So if you throw £10 on the floor then pick it up again you've basically earned £10 and paid for your dinner #freelunch You got CL again because you offloaded agent Mourinho to a top 4 rival and VAR gave you more penalties than ever in the history of football
Liverpool are refusing to sell either Harry Wilson or Marco Grujic on the cheap this summer, according to the Times. Liverpool loaned out both Wilson and Grujic last term, and despite fairly productive campaigns, the duo both appear to have little future at Anfield. The Reds, though, are determined to receive a sizeable fee for either of them. And the Times suggest that Liverpool are not interested in letting them go on the cheap. Norwich expect Liverpool to make a second bid for Jamal Lewis and they have decided they will accept £15million for the left-back. The 22-year-old was the subject of a £10m offer from the Reds on Thursday which was rejected by the Canaries. Carrow Road chiefs were originally looking for around £20m for Lewis but now may have realised that could price Liverpool out of a deal.
Why would we? If we cannot sign our targets on the cheap? That said, something will have to give.......what will be the new market pricing? 25% of pre Covid premiums?
It's what I was saying yesterday. Norwich will price themselves out of a deal here. Meet in the middle.
Or we could miss out through not coughing up. It's always been the same - it's a game of brinkmanship. They will have other potential buyers, we will have other targets. If the willingness to do a deal is there, then it'll be done. Everything else is just bluster.
I think it's common practice to go in low and test the resolve but Norwich could harm themselves here by asking double. Klopp won't be bullied. Norwich shouldn't be bullied either but I think they have more to lose here.
I doubt he loves us that much. If there's no chance of us sealing the deal I'm sure he'd get over it enough to go to another club that isn't in the Championship next year.
Prob be done for around 15m which you’d say if a fair price. Young and English with good potential, can see why Norwich would want upwards of 20m for him. Especially when were talking about selling Wilson for similar amounts.
