good shout, he played his first couple of games at right back and combined well with O/9 in front of him IIRC..
I’m never a fan of full backs on the wrong foot, it’s slows everything. Man United a prime example, they were flying, Shaw gets injured and Williams, smashing young player but right sided goes in left back and they hobble through last few games. Balance is so important.
I never appreciated that. wtf is he doing at left-back? Probably why he never looked that comfortable defending. Switch him right, Garbutt goes left as wing-backs with the back 3. Christ, this is the first squad formation idea that has come into my head for 6 months ....who else do we still have in the squad?

Makes sense, both decent going forward so 3 at the back with wing back wingers with the balance is the way forward. Hopefully Scowen steps up put him in deep with Power and then Maguire as a false 9 behind O’Brien I think that’s the base of a decent side for the level. Id like another CM and Striker as well. Clearly.
Training with the players today, some say it’s almost done https://mobile.twitter.com/i/web/status/1291059010267942915
I'm confused, are you on about Hume being right-footed? Because he's the most one-footed left footer I've ever seen play.
Yeah Hume's left footed isn't he? Certainly looks more comfortable on it although he did well in the couple of games he had at RB. He needs support and competition anyway, a little too much was asked of him last season.
I’m wrong on this my bad. I’m not sure who I was thinking of, frankly ha. So we need a RWB then also.
I’m concerned reading that. He never kicked a ball last year and it seems he’s constantly crocked by injuries. Obvious potential but how much has he lost given the injuries...
