Can Leeds United be champions of the the premiership first season back 20 - 2021 and players needed

Trouble is you're going to have to leapfrog the likes of Sheff Utd and Wolves to get there. It's a tough ask and as others have said, the quality in the prem is such a huge jump. I hope Leeds perform tbh, it'll make the Prem a lot more enjoyable.

 

Top 6 is a huge jump, Don't think the rest are that good tbh. You can say most who go up struggle, but so do most who go down.

 

Yeah, from my point of view the first year should all be about staying up and collecting that money to build stronger again.

It's probably Bielsa's last season (he hasn't signed yet! ) with us. I'm already dreading the first season without him!

 

One thing I will say is that I think Orta and Radz have been bitten by the Leeds bug and I don't think it's just for show. I reckon they want to take us as far they possibly can and not just for the money. We are in capable hands and if the plan is to just consolidate for a season or two and then progress further, I wouldn't moan about it. I stopped watching PL football a couple of seasons ago and liked the cut and thrust of the Championship although obviously relieved we finally won the damn thing. But I did watch the Liverpool vs Chelsea game a few weeks ago and Liverpool are on a different planet. Realistically, we can't match the type of football the top 2/3 teams produce week in and week out although I expect us to put up a fight against some of them because of the spirit the lads have developed between them.

 

There is not a hope in hell of us even getting in to the top 4 for the foreseeable future. We just don't have the resources. There are teams spending 80m on one player who can't make it.
My hope is that we have a mediocre season, rattle a couple of cages and maybe get a run in the cup.
My worry is that it will not be good enough for Bielsa and he may walk. He hasn't been out of the top four since he's been here so maybe that's why he hasn't signed yet.
He must have looked at what it takes to perform in the Premier League and is considering whether he can be arsed to make up the numbers.

On the other hand, who knows? 8 less games a season will help us

 

In bielsa we trust and he has already brought leeds united the champions of championship , now leeds utd are coming for the premiership crown that is rightfully ours , leeds utd were cheated out of the european cup by a bent ref so leeds are coming for that also , you aint seen nothing yet ! we dominated before things go round in circles now its leeds utd time again to dominate , investment from middle east and america will take leeds back to the top

Exactly wakey all the other premiership clubs will be able to say is EH ? where did leeds utd come from ? when leeds are back at top of premiership , they have tried to keep leeds utd down for too long now its time for bielsas leeds utd cream to rise to the top !! ha ha LOL

 

Leeds utd and their fans will never settle for their team to make up the numbers and neither will bielsa people keep saying we have not got the resources but behind the scenes is middle east quatar and other backers of leeds and with radzanni getting them in Leeds have every chance !! they said last year at end of 2018 -2019 season that radzizzani did not have the money to keep going with leeds he did"nt but he had and got more backers in to get leeds utd up and now leeds are premiership they will be queueing up , especially when the big clubs are struggling on no crowds , leeds have the advantage of less financial commitments also .

I'd absolutely love us to challenge but I just can't see it. The sows ear that Bielsa turned into a silk purse now needs to be filled with about £200m.

We’re still a team of average Championship players who Bielsa has transformed as a unit, individually how many are truly PL quality?

It would be a master stroke if Bielsa gets above mid table

 

Leeds dont need all that money to win the premiership !! ye of little faith , have you forgot this video came out in the 2018-2019 season , watching it at that time would you of honestly thought leeds united a season later were going to win the championship by a clear 10 points ?
