    why would the PL want to do this ?
    is it because if they agree to that then the PL can knock the take over back because of Human Rites / Piracy by association

    It was supposedly on the basis as to who has ultimate control but it was apparently believed that it was a device to be able to refuse it on piracy grounds.

    I can tell someone I've cancelled something, but there's still an official process..

    It was reported that as yet there's been no official withdrawal.

    I'm only speculating

    ChronicleLive understands the PIF are also 'keen' to revisit the deal if the Premier League are prepared to give the bid the green light but that, of course, is a huge if.

    so PIF would revisit the bid, but only if the PL would pass it. Must be the 70,000 on that petition that is gonna sway it.

    maybe they will answer the PL questions this time.

    the likes of Villa and Brighton will be worried.
