I'm not arsed if we sign a big name or not, but we should be looking to bring in younger players to challenge and eventually replace the current squad. 6/7 of our current 11 are 28 or older, great that at the moment they are sll in their prime. In 2 seasons that over half the first 11 that will be over 30. I understand you only thinking about the klopp years, but there was a fair number before that when every season we where rebuilding, year after year after year. We are on top now, but you don't stay there by sitting back and admiring what you've done.
I 'm not sure whether it was Diego last year when we came runners up to Manchester City that said "whenever we come second in the league we usually don't make the top four the following season" What is Diego doing on this board anyway?.
Man Utd plan Kasper Schmeichel transfer after staff hold David de Gea meeting Manchester United could be about to sign a new goalkeeper. By RYAN TAYLOR Manchester United are reportedly ready to move for Kasper Schmeichel to solve their problems between the sticks. The Leicester goalkeeper is the son of Red Devils legend Peter, who was part of United's treble-winning side in 1999 alongside Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Why do that when they could just use Henderson who is a class keeper that just needs game time with them. If they go for Schmeichel I can see Henderson wanting a move, possibly Chelsea
Not even sure Schmeichel jr is better than either of Romero or Henderson but tbf it is probably just some "journalist" going "ManU might replace De Gea and his dad played for them so it all makes sense"
He's trying to convince himself that MU are somehow 'closing in' on Liverpool, when in fact the cavernous gap of 31 points from 18/19 increased to 33 points in 19/20.........even with Liverpool taking their foot off the pedal when it was a forgone conclusion.....
well united are in process of making Henderson one of best paid keepers in Europe with this new contract so it’s a load of bull. Crazy that they already have the best paid at the club and now gonna give Henderson over 100k
So, who's this Tory bastard who's been raping women? (allegedly). Can't think of which thread to post this on.
Chelsea target Pope Chelsea have identified Nick Pope as the man to potentially take the number one spot at Stamford Bridge, according to The Daily Star. Pope, 28, joined Burnley from Charlton Athletic in 2016 and has gone on to become a Premier League regular and an England international while at Turf Moor. His form has caught the eye of Chelsea, and the report states the goalkeeper would be interested in a return to London. Frank Lampard has lost patience with Kepa Arrizabalaga, and have previously been linked to Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak. Pope is seen as a cheaper option, however, with an offer of £50million believed to be enough to tempt Burnley boss Sean Dyche into selling Pope.
