One of the better things about supporting my lot is that the whingers at least live within a 30 mile radius and come from a long line of families of fellow sufferers <laugh>

At the Goodison derby last season I went to the fanzone behind the Park End before the game, was stood amongst loads of reds. No word of a lie, I heard ONE Scouse accent amongst them (a lid with his young lad) the rest were a mixture of south west and southerners in the main. Given you only get 2500 away tickets, the only ones who can attend are those who are literally the hardcore. I was genuinely quite shocked tbh.

Majority of Pool fans where I now work (London) are South East Asians or descended from families that came across from Uganda / Kenya during the 70s, and 80s and simply adopted the then most successful English team ... later immigrants went for United for the same reason ...

I know a few Liverpool fans who originate from the SW. They’re a similar age to me so jumped on the late 70s-mid 80s bandwagon like most Liverpool fans of that age but what’s a bit odd is that Liverpool seem to have a particularly high following of glory hunters from that region. Possibly because there aren’t many “big” clubs based there.

I have yeh but i hate that game tbh, i find him quite funny to watch tho.

Seems like good time to bump this thread anyway.

Brendan rodgers the latest name linked with the utd job, i wonder how the utd fanbase would feel about taking on an ex Liverpool manager?

    Personally i wouldn't give a ****. Same with rafa at the #peasants.

Ole will deffo be gone by the time we return from the International break, ill be fukin amazed if hes still there even if they win the next 3.

    Rodgers tho<rofl>

Rodgers comes across as a massive bell end, but in fairness to him, his record is pretty hard to criticise.

Not sure I can see him at United though, I doubt some of those egos would be having him and his power points.

He'd at least get them playing as team together, beyond that im not so sure of his skillz against your klopps and peps & tuchels long term.

He seems a very ambitious guy so i can deffo see him taking it if its offered.

Next few weeks are gonna be a frenzy around the utd job and whos gonna get it..

Some decent potential bants if it is Brenda tho<whistle>

Yeah I reckon he’d defo take it, would he be on their shortlist? Dunno, but there’s not exactly a glut of available talent at the minute. They could genuinely do far worse than him, like say Ole.

Personally i reckon they are currently sounding out potential replacements for ole, 3 games to save hia job seems to be the general feeling but for me he sealed his fate losing 5 zip to us, as i said theyll have someone new in after the international break imo

In other news, metthyew has taken thier defeat well<laugh>

Hes alright i guess, bit defensive maybe.

But hes in the convo regardless due to the bank of roman clause which as you know taints everything.
