I'm sure he's doing it for nothing BB ............. after all, the BBC are notorious for insisting on their free lunches.
I have a couple of friends out here who are Derby supporters. To say they are overjoyed is putting it very mildly.
Unfortunately didn't help The Swans. The team I would have wanted to go up. Then again maybe it's a let off.
So in these craziest of times, the new season started in Scotland... before the old season had even finished in England. F A Cup final and play-off final were still to be played at 15.00 hrs yesterday!
Even more crazy is that the Scottish Premier title will quite likely have been decided before the EPL kicks off ...................
I looked for the odds to win the champ. next season but couldn't find anything apart from Fulham vs Brentford on Tuesday. As soon as that's decided, I guess. Will also depend who signs for who / who moves on in the current window. But we must be near the top - we get nearly £40m to spend over two years... for laying out about £3.5m last summer - can't accuse Webber of not having business acumen!
5 - 1 to Celtic today. You could make a case for saying the SPL is over already! How intolerably boring!!
And imagine playing each other at least three, and in some cases four times per season. The mind bogles!
Rivalry - I can understand that! There are no clubs in football that I really hate, not even Ipswich. But West Ham and Villa are getting close.
Derby v Barrow goes to pens. 0-1 Barrow 1-1 Derby 1-1 Barrow miss 1-1 Derby miss 1-1 Barrow miss 1-1 Derby miss 1-2 Barrow 2-2 Derby 2-2 Barrow miss 3-2 Derby
From what I saw of the second half, Idah did himself proud, Looked perfectly comfortable and played intelligently. Pukki played the key pass which led to Finland's goal, had a cracking, outside of the foot, first time volley saved by Randolph, and a shot from just outside the area aimed at the far corner which scraped the outside of the post. Still seems a bit laboured compared to the razor sharp Pukki pre-toe injury.
