    Morning all :emoticon-0148-yes:

The coming week should give us a better idea of what the coming season will look like. its only 5 or 6 weeks so not a long time to bring in new players and get them capable of playing Bielsaball. Of the 17 players I listed last week a few are still getting headlines:
    • Juan Foyth
    • Lucas Martinez Quarto
    • Florentino
    • Said Benrahama
    • Emiliano Buendia
    • Eberechi Eze
    • Ollie Watkins
    • David Brooks
A couple of new ones that have some traction due to links and previous interest.

    • Gonzalo Montiel from River Plate. Classy defender wanted by 3 prem clubs and in Italy, Spain and France and a big Bielsa fanboy.
    • Raul De Tomas striker from Espanyol
    • Nahitan Nander, Uruguayan International utility player who can play as a box to box midfielder like Klich or be DM and do what Phillips does. He was spoken to last season and said he would love to play for Leeds and Bielsa but not in the Championship.
Todays headlines are Ryan Edmondsons move to Aberdeen and will it benefit him or Leeds. he will sign a contract extension but I think it will be so we get a fee for him later?

Mallik Wilks is wanted by Stoke City so I hope that comes off for the kid as he has only just signed a contract with Hull who are dying and relegated.

49ers have said they want to take a bigger investment in the club which could be massive news. the club is now valued at £300m and they bought 11% when it was valued at £80m - £100m. if they took another 10% it would cost them £30m

Transfer fees and player valuations make no sense and go against normal rules of business. Classic case of Danny Rose who last season was worth £50m and Leeds fans were hoping he would leave Spurs so that we would get £5m of the transfer fee as we had a 10% sell-on. He went on loan and saved Newcastle's season. He is still probably the fastest left back in the country and a powerful stopper and plays for England. We have a left back issue and he would fill it for only £5m but maybe he has an attitude, massive wage demands but someone is going to get a bargain

I'm presuming Bielsa as given his word that he will sign a new contract if we get the players he wants, a little worrying he hasn't signed yet.
With so little time left, be good to get a few signed over the next week, especially as Radz said they had a list of players for either scenario, 3 months ago.

Could be waiting on the Brentford result, Watkins could be first choice and they know we will need to throw a big chunk of cash at it.

2 problems there Rich, will Brentford win it, if not are we certain to get Watkins. Be nice to get a deal done for a CB.

Agree with with both of you. We know we want a left back, a CB, a striker and a No10 and if Kiko goes a new keeper too. We know contact has been made with Norwich for Buendia, but Brentford have 2 players we want and wont know until Wednesday how the land lies. And on top of that how do we know the players will be sold if they dont get promotion? We need a CB whatever happens on Tuesday night so Quarto or Foyth needs to happen and if we can get White bonus but without White and Berardi we would have to rely on Struijk.
We need to move and the problem with Brentford is that our players have had a couple of weeks off so go back and get stuck in just when the Brentford players will want a holiday so come back a month behind Leeds players. Leeds should ask the club on Wednesday are you willing to sell yes or no, if no move on fast

Hi all from the scorching hot greek island of Zakynthos. We came thursday and the temp has been as high as 37c but it is lovely after lockdown.
I have said my piece now and await new arrivals at the club. Bargain basement or top drawer i matters little if they can't take Bielsas fitness regime. Fat kev is one who failed and i never want to see him again. I don't watch prem or football from around the world so relying on you guys and gals views on incoming players.

One journo this morning has said the team will look like this if we spend £100m and for me not sure this would ensure a good season

I saw the name of Alessandro Florenzi mentioned a week ago, but now Phil Hay talking about how Leeds have been watching and keeping tabs on him. This bloke is an International version of Dallas as he plays defence, wing or midfield. captain of Roma and the man named as the new Francesco Totti. 35 caps for Italy and is deffo leaving Roma.

Out of left field but gaining big mo

ShonWeismann from Austrian outfit Wolfsburger played 40 times scoring 37 goals. Scored twice in the Europa League and also had 9 assists.
This is the same league where Alfies boy was banging them in and Minimino before Liverpool snapped him up. Believe Orta and Bielsa doing numbers as our new striker must be able to do what Bamford does plus hit the target more than Bamford. Weismann does the lot and Phil Hay has mentioned him too

This isnt a Mickey-mouse league and its a much higher standard than the top Dutch league and best news is he will cost around £6m

Edmondson came on for the last half hour when Aberdeen were struggling 1-0 down. According to local media and Aberdeen fans young Ryan was MOM and had a great game looking dangerous and tried

Yeah, I watched it. He came on, improved the side, didn't look out of his depth against Rangers. Had some neat touches.

One lad who stood out for me for his tireless work off the ball and also the quality on the ball was our old friend Ryan Kent.

Always liked the Kent fella, there's a bit of nastiness in his game. Love when he plays Celtic.<ok>
