Did I miss anything?

 

No nothing unusual, just another quiet day.

 

Plague, famine, drought, locusts, toads, nuclear war and alien invasion but apart from that I didn't notice anything unusual.

 

I think when the music stops there will be quite a few empty chairs.
It's difficult trying to keep up with who is going to be here tomorrow.

As far as I could see he posted nothing different to the rest of us in challenging someone else’s posting.

This comes across as really capricious, opportunistic, draconian, tyrannical and mean spirited.

Am I missing something here?

 

Did anyone actually complain this time? No one seemed put out by him.

I propose Glory be permitted back to the Leeds United group if not the whole site, please.

 

Great, now Glory can be reprieved.

 

He repeatedly stated that he accepted his previous ban, he deserved it and would careful with his posting now that he was back.

Unless I missed something, don’t see what he actually did wrong to be banned again.

 

I'm sure I've read somewhere that it was felt that he had an ulterior motive and was out to get Shako and Chesh on the same premise as the one he was prosecuting against LL.

 

Cool so in his head he had an agenda.

What exactly did he post that was objectionable and who objected?

 

I don't know if there was an agenda. The original offending post has been taken down but you can actually read it in some replies. This one appears be the starting point and events transpired, as can be read.

LL was banned by brb for too many racist complaints. NOBODY hit the report button, it was all said by members in open threads.

Nobody reported Glory but he was being watched by the super mods. The super mods didn’t like his posting style, in short it was felt that he was going after LL for personal reasons not because of the content. As Eric pointed out it was also felt he was showing too much animosity towards Chesh and Shako. They did NOT ask for any action, they didn’t report anything, I think at least one of them contacted brb asking for Glory NOT to be banned.

Although Glory had his ban lifted, both brb and Minxy expected the “same old” Glory to return. He would have had to stay squeaky clean and probably stick to football related topics and have no heated exchanges for a long time to shake off being watched.

Anyway, brb has made the decision, there is absolutely ZERO chance of him reversing that decision.

Hope this answers your question mate as it needs to be put to bed, I say that in a respectful manner because brb has made it clearer than clear the decision is final. He is the guy at the top of the tree, Minxy has the same authority and she is 100% in support of him.

 

brb objected, he was warned he would be monitored, and in brbs opinion, took no notice.

 

Well, whatever happened, he took one for the team if he took LL with him

 

More the other way around, LL left voluntary, his ban came after he had gone.

 

It's a shame that a couple of posters tried to defend the indefensible and got somebody banned as a result

 

He got himself banned for doing the opposite of what he was told.
