My take on today. ashley is faultless. He did his part. There were no shenanigans. That BS paper talk. The PL big clubs have locked us out of the top table to protect their interests. Notably City didn’t stand in our way apparently. Shameful if the scousers did. Thought our clubs had an affinity and they should know what investment can do to working class areas. The blame is with the PL for giving in to pressure. there’s also something odd about Staveleys statement and her reference to ‘we had to make a statement today’. I think there’s something very fishy about the Saudis behaviour today.
At an absolute push, scratching around for any positivity at all, maybe the Saudi's have backed out and the Reubens are taking over. But I think this deal is dead in the water unless they're willing to front the £350 Mil.
When push comes to shove when your backs against the wall that's when we find out whos all talk and who's really positive
