Canal picnic today, we may buy a boat given the travel restrictions mine field. Missed a good deal earlier 10m canal cruiser mechanically and structurally sound cosmetics required for the interior. So it goes, another one will come along . This way to Leiden and eventually Amsterdam To Delft, Rotterdam and the South.turn right to The Hague after the bridge. I’ve grown a buddleia in a pot rather than in the ground; wasn’t sure how it would go. I love the colour.

I live near farmland and get a lot of birds in my garden, but sadly not much variety, so was thrilled to see a jay* on my lawn this morning. Don’t know what he was eating, but he was finding lots of it. Ok, an ornithologist, I ain’t. Put on my glasses...it’s a green woodpecker.
