From what I can gather, if correct, it was about the term "paki" that was used...........obviously it was easier to take the content down, or feed someone's personal agenda than it was to say "your content needs to be edited for this reason"

There is no law that says what is, and isn't so called racist, or so called racism, just like there isn't a law that defines what is PC and what isn't, and both are aligned and entwined. What may be considered offensive by some, is not considered offensive by others (equality)

Once you put a limit on free speech, for any reason, it becomes a dictatorship.

Jock, Taffy, Paddy, Limey, Sassanach, Faenien, Brit, Scot, Froggy, Yank, Nazi, Bosch, Ruski, Ities, etc are not so called racist terms.

Calling a black man black is not so called racist.

Being Islamophobic is not being a racist, but Muslims and Sadiq Khan claim it is being so called racist, because they want it, and need it to be.

Muslims calling whites and non believers Kafirs, Infidels and more is not so called racist.

Muslims calling under age minors a white slag and slut is not racist.

Ethnics groups BLM. Antifa, cancel culture, including some white people calling white people white trash, white privileged, white supremacist are not so called racist.

Pulling down of statues and desecrating Churches and statues of Jesus is supposedly not so called Racist.

Hate speech (this is farcical) designed to suppress a person's personal feelings and emotions, as well as freedom of speech and expression (by Sadiq Khan)

I could go on, I'm sure you get the picture.

Forums these days are no different to Facebook, Twitter, Google and youtube when it comes to taking down content because of personal agenda, or because you don't conform to, or disagree agree with their personal agendas.

Because there are no laws defining what is and isn't racism, the looney left have took advantage of this and become self elected arbiters of so called racism.

Back in the 50's, 60's, 70's etc, swearing was frowned upon, there was also a law against it if I remember correctly, now swearing is pretty much accepted everywhere. The words racist and racism is used so much it's become well and truly watered down, with many not even understanding what so called racism is. People nowadays use so called racism as a weapon to hurt and damage people, groups and countries to satisfy the accuser, and accusers personal hateful agenda.

And yet, The British censorship board allows all the so called racist, and so called non racist words (including swearing) into films, books and songs etc......talk about hypocrisy hey..................or, maybe that's one of the reasons they can't make laws defining what is and isn't so called racism..................after all, BLM, Antifa and cancel culture did try to ban some films, but they never went after D'Jango, is that cos BLM supporter Jamie Foxx was in it.

This use to be a good forum, but, imo, the mods (not all) have allowed it to slowly be dictated by socialist communist and mob rule attitudes and behaviours......Personally, I think they need to review and reform the forum for everyone's benefit, but mainly for what's right and for the good of the decent members.

I have LL on ignore after yesterdays episode so have no clue what you are talking about.
I never reported him but debate doesn’t involve illegal racism. If he has gone or has been pushed then that is entirely down to him posting extremist and or racist material in my opinion. We can all have different takes on things but the right to air them comes with the responsibility to adhere to rules and laws.
Sorry but I vehemently disagree with a position that seems to say it’s ok to say or post things without consequence for law/rule breaking. But that is only an opinion and I have no say in the process. I understand why you might want to dismiss my opinion but don’t the “many others” deserve to access their forum without seeing racist, illegal or antagonistic political indoctrination on a near daily basis? Primarily this is a footie forum. If we can’t discuss politics sensibly perhaps the thread needs deleting. Not my preferred option but clearly the topic is too divisive given the views held on either side. I welcome all Leeds fans and their ethnicity or religion make no difference to me. One of my friends here has mixed race grandchildren and I am embarrassed that he has to read some of the justifications given to promote racism.

No problem with that, although as LL said, maybe a PM to warn him not to use the word paki-stani. I don't know if he's used that before. If he had and was warned well maybe so. I just don't get why ethic minorities get all the protection, it's not like us privileged white Irish/Scots or Welsh get any action taken when things are said to us. You have to put why he used the word into context, he was talking about those vile groomers, who deserve to be called that. If you are going to stamp out so called racist words, do the same on homophobic, sexist comments as well.
