    Evening Ladies & Gents, first post on here. Been a member on the ‘other side’ as it’s referred to on here but this place seems a lot more reasoned!! Anyway...

    Having listened to the section on Total Sport where they were discussing the Takeover/Buyout with Nick Barnes. In my opinion this has FPP written all over it, maybe not in the full capacity we would hope but certainly another step closer to being more involved.

    Also the club must be costing SD a fortune and financially he could be in trouble with it. FPP (Or member of) offers him that ‘quickish’ sale and the easy route out.

    However... This Storey fella seems pretty adamant he’s in the running, surely he can’t be that mad just to make it up?? And it is curious as to how quiet Micky Gray has gone since Nick Barnes broke the news. If it wasn’t so bloody important it would actually be quite entertaining!

    If we really have entered into an exclusivity period with somebody and Storey is still mouthing off, then I think it’s fair to assume he’s not the one.

    I dread to think what world I'd be living in if he was the one. I think he's simply being a publicity whore with a small amount of cash and a large amount of blag. Fair play to him like, probably had more hits on his energy drink site last few days than the last few years so job done.

    After a full day of listening to everyone's views on Nick Barnes interview I decided to listen myself and get it first hand and I'm afraid I came away thinking the vast majority of it is him purely speculating and making 'measured' assumptions that it could be FPP or Sartori. I never got the impression he actually knew anything or had been particularly fed anything from Donald, I was quite deflated afterwards tbh. I don't think he knows anything regarding who it is, therefore if it is close it could literally be someone who's been interested previously but just not been made public.

    I have got to disagree with this tbh....I think he definitely knows who it is (have you listened to the previous day?)...he made a point talking about Juan Sartoris family at length as well as FPP and 100% wanted us all to turn our attention to them 2 parties. Whats happened in 24 hrs? I dont know but to me it sounded like he had been reigned in by his source (It points to SD). Yesterday it all sounded like back tracking as if he was making a statement on instruction from somebody else.

    In all honesty all I've ever wanted was the best for all the supporters, not to be right for my own sake.

    Being given the initial info was a million to one chance and I passed it on in good faith.

    Even the most 'far fetched' info, about the ex-England manager/development around the ground/etc, have subsequently been talked about in the media, etc.

    Let's just hope it all comes off ...

    ... although some sick weirdos will be hoping it doesn't just to 'prove me wrong'.

    I think he’s involved, or why the silence?

    He was quite vocal during the Donald takeover in his opinions there were better options, he’s been open about trying to get a group together, then silence on this?

    Everything points to involvement.
