No deaths for 12 consecutive days in Scotland, with a total of 190 new cases over the last two weeks.

It's still floating about, but nowhere near the levels of either England or Spain - and I see that Germany is starting to see a rise in cases again...

It's been revealed that some people have returned from Spain and then tested positive for Covid - so the abrupt resumption of quarantine seems to have been correct - if only they'd acted so swiftly at the beginning of the pandemic.

But to answer Stroller's question, if he has had it but has antibodies which prevent him falling ill does that also mean he is no longer infectious to others who might be more susceptible to serious illness. I think your answer suggest that 'it depends' whether he has the killer antibodies or the shield protection ones and which end of the spectrum those in between are closer to.

 

As I understand it, Stroller doesn't know whether he's had it or not. He suspects he has. I've met loads of people who reckon they've had it, but don't actually know.
If in doubt, don't risk infecting anyone else.

I had already explained that before you joined the discussion - couple of days back in the same thread.

 

If I have indeed had it (and since my wife's antibody test, I'm even more convinced that I have), it was before lockdown, so I would have ceased to be infectious to others some months ago.

They need to keep up the narrative in order to get everyone vaccinated by the end of 2022 which is in line with the EU, CH and basically the Western world. If noone ever looks at "The Great Reset" which is the official version of the WEF (World Economic Forum), the information I provided about the 2010 Rockefeller Foundation template or the "New Industrial Strategy for Europe" that will start 2021 (never mind the Brexit, something similar is in place for the UK) then you will not understand why they created virus hoax.

Read the stuff which comes from official sites and you might understand what you are going to experience very soon - get prepared (no, I am not a prepper living in the woods).

 

Unfortunately those people who think that this whole thing is a hoax, and who are downplaying the seriousness of all this are the ones who are helping to ensure that the problem remains with us for a long time to come.

 

Here in Oz, Victoria cases continue to peak and deaths are frequent daily.
New South Wales cases are now also increasing, as stated in the papers, quite possibly related to the BLM & the cancel culture marches.

Here in Queensland, touch wood, we are progressing without any real variation to our daily 'no cases' totals although
they say we are about to shut the border with NSW, again.

Everything was going along nicely for the country as a whole............ virtually no cases Oz wide, until .........

 

How has Morrison been perceived to have handled it out of interest?

 

Morrison has been considered proactive and 'doing the right thing' todate but now with this second wave, l think he's become gun shy to what is now looking like it may be worse than the first wave. Victoria displayed real 'head in the sand' tactics to arrive at where they are now, sadly.

The thing that gripes me is that we are still letting in planes from overseas, strangely enough, with passengers who are testing positive ....... who would have thought?

We only had two cases here in Queensland last week and both had arrived from overseas.

 

That's not my point . The question wasn't how long before you no longer have any traces of the virus. I was asking if someone has antibodies an indicator s/he has been infected at some time (or I suppose that this person has some natural immunity) does that mean they can not carry the virus at all and cannot transmit it to others at all.

 

I hear that the new terminology for reporting deaths is no longer “x people today died of, or with corona virus” but “x people, who had previously tested positive for covid, have today died”.

If we could just cut out 20,000 or so deaths from people being hit by buses per year we wouldn’t have to wear masks.
