    1:45 Goodwood Handicap 2m 4f
SEINESATIONAL 14/1 only beaten a neck in this race last year and looks to have been campaigned in order to get in on a handy mark again.

    6:00 Queen's Sargent - 6/1

I have put two and two together here.... Paul Nicholls has a runner in the 1:45 at Goodwood, which has been the ride of Megan for both of his wins. She however doesn't take the trip down to Glorious, instead riding at Thirsk for Kevin Ryan.

The horse has the form in the book and he managed to win under Kevin Stott last time. Megan is back on and I think he will go very close again.

Call me mad but I am liking Circus Maximus to Chase Siskin home. Why he is a third of the price that mohather is, is beyond me. A proven g1 horse second in this last year, and another few strides he would have got back up. You know he will battle and will be hard to pass and with that reckon Siskin will only mow him down late. And if for any reason Siskin gets stuck he will take advantage

    Mad.
Call me mad back as I think CM has no chance. Not sure who I will back as yet but SD after a long lay off should not be far behind Mohaather but the prices dont agree.
I will back Siskin or Kameko.

Is it just my imagination or is almost every Roger Varian runner supported in the betting market? I also find his yard have a huge proportion of their horses underpriced when entered.

Reading my mind a bit here mate. I was looking at this earlier today and was amused to see that he had a couple punted off the boards in the early races and they were rubbish. Then in the last he has big drifter that bolts in. Really quite bizarre.
12 beaten favourites in the last fortnight.

It has caught my eye before this season, but, when I've been backing or looking at the racing markets lately, his runners seemed to be all getting supported, or are already among the top of the betting when you wouldn't expect one to be. I'm not sure how well he has done overall but my guess is not as well as the odds suggest.

Alan King has one In the race which could just surprise everyone, Coueur de Lion 15/2, goes up a tad
in the weights after the win at Ascot, will stay the trip and retains the headgear which worked last time .

Dan skeltons Bandsman should be good enough to win 2.30 Bangor.
Going over a shorter trip should help 15/8

Whiskey and water Should take some stopping 1.00 Bangor 7/2

    Admirality - Stick 3/1

Goodwood 2.45 Significantly hopefully gets his head in front this time around 4/1

There you go another three to by pass along with Coeur De Lion.

Good luck all that have a bash tomorrow

    Bangor 2pm

Samson's Reach 14/1 each way. Had a run on the flat 2 weeks ago, has the excellent Jack Tudor on board, yard say he is in good nick and has some decent course form.

The other flat horse I want to flag up is Digital who has had the cruelest cut of all since his second run. He clearly is a talented juvenile and he was clearly not putting it all in!!

Even with that said, his form from that race is working out well. The winner followed up in listed company and the fourth hacked up in a maiden at Bath. The sixth then won a good York race in taking fashion to round off the form upgrade.

Given the cut since that run, and into a race which should work out weaker, I thought he had a standout chance of breaking his maiden. That said, I would have fancied him in a nursery off a mark of 80 too.

    16:30 - Digital

Also worth noting that he is good on the clock.

What do we think of the Galway Plate then chaps? More plots than an Agatha Christie novel eh? Mullins, Elliot and JP McManus all mob-handed and no easy task just deciphering which of theirs will run best?

My tuppence worth: I think Gordon Elliot is the man to be with here and, as we so often see, it could be the less fancied runners who get closest, with likely hot favourite Galvin a little high in the weights for my liking. Both Three Musketeers and The Big Lense had a nice pipe-opener at Kilbeggan a couple of weeks ago and The Big Lense gets 3lbs for the 3 lengths between them on that occasion. I think the younger horse can progress past his stablemate today and go very close at rewarding odds.

The Sussex is wide open I think. If you take out the favourite, who'll probably win. Not a terrible price either.

Sod trying to choose between the others, it's impossible. Siskin to remain unbeaten, and give us all something to be excited about. Not sure what he beat in the Irish Guineas, but he beat them most emphatically.
