They've probably been refusing to cooperate and hoping the questions would go away, just like Man City did with their FFP charges.
maybe their lawyers have said you don't have to.. if they fail it we will sue them? like I say nobody knows its just guessing
Exposed as cheats and reputation trashed, players refused to sign contracts because of CL uncertainty, millions spent on lawyers, and €10 million fine
football is corrupt.. don't think anyone's complaining about villa breaking FFP and staying up because of it
Villa didn’t break PL FFP though, they allegedly broke the EFL FFP but got promoted beyond the jurisdiction of the EFL before they could be punished for it. Which is why them going down would have been even funnier, as they’d have walked straight back into it. Shame.
What a joke. The EFL should make proving your accounts are in order a necessary condition for promotion to be granted. Same for relegated teams qualifying for parachute payments.
That’d be impossible to administer though, due to the accounts submission dates and the varying financial year ends. If a Championship club gambles, breaks the rules and goes up in the same year they’re beyond the control of the EFL.
At last our local MPs are coming out and doing positive stuff to influence things. outweighs the no marks on the Qatari payroll From earlier in the process.
Did none of you actually read the letter? The MP was quoting what their constituents had said to them. They might think it’s bonkers but it’s their job to represent them.
