Sylvian Marveaux vs Aaron Lennon

  1. Based on potential, which would you rather have?

Lennon is quicker, despite Marv being very fast.

Marveaux's passing and deliveries are better IMO.

From what I've seen, Marveaux's shooting is also better than Lennon's, and Marv can whip in a good free kick.

Dribbling... hmmmm... I'd probably go with Lennon, even though neither are amazing dribblers. Marv can hold on to the ball better when challenged by a player, but Lennon is better at causing havoc in the box with his quick feet.

Atm, I'd say Lennon is a better player, but given time to adapt to the league, I'd rather have Marveaux. I think his overall quality is better.

In terms of movement i'd go for Lennon, but in terms of creative play, I'd say Marveaux.

Too early to comment. Marveaux hasn't started a Prem game yet! Also I think they are quite different players, so difficult to compare.

You'd have to take Lennon at present quite comfortably. He is a proven top class performer in the league, Marveaux is not. Impossible to say about Marveaux at present as we have only seen a small amount of him. We've seen some nice stuff but there will be a lot of things good and bad we are yet to discover. If he can prove himself capable of performing regularly in the PL he could be better as he is more gifted technically.

    Lennon all day.

Marveaux has shown signs of promise in his brief appearances, but that's all really. Lennon has delivered for years.

I like Marveaux though, think he'll turn out to be a cracking signing in the next few months.

"Marveaux's passing and deliveries are better IMO."

and you have made this assumption based on Marveaux's 2 starts against lower league opposition and 2 substitute appearances compared to Lennon's 200+ appearances for Spurs?

Or have you just based it on FIFA or Footy Manager, like most numbskulls who don't actually watch football except for Match of the Day?

Next thread, Fernando Torres vs Sammy Ameobi - Sammy has a better goals per game ratio and his haircut and smile are better.

Marveaux's started two games for us, both against Championship sides. Lennon's younger and probably better.

Lennon is rubbish no technique, no skill just pace, Marveaux reminds me of Malouda and has alot of potential Marveaux will be better then Lennon.
