Apparently he told a lot of people Inc. Several journalists that his aim this season was to beat Rafas points total from last season to prove that British managers are better. That's why they've all been up his arse.

If I was a footie manager, the first thing I’d want my team doing is to press the opposition. It forces other teams to make mistakes, giving you more possession, meaning more chances to score. Why some managers don’t get players to press is baffling. & it’s not just the best teams who do it either, Southampton do it, Brighton do too.

It could be he was emotional for other reasons.. He's had it rough I don't care who you're it takes a strong character to put up with it like he has... Maybe he was told well done and it all came out but he looked the opposite of happy
