no mate.. he is a hypocrite.
Wears a chain with a padlock to symbolise oppression And hardship... whilst sitting in his tax haven courting millions and then having the temerity to preach to others and then even worse... beel when they don’t share exactly the same views... it’s simple really.

mate it’s his arrogant attitude to those who don’t continue to take the knee.

it’s like me worshipping at the alter of the purple dildo and then crying like a bitch when you guys don’t go out and buy on in ‘support’.

okay Trev already has one and Pouchy will probs find my spare under his bed but most of you is what I meant....

It's actually more like you taking offence to those who don't show respect to the war dead. To you, their deaths matter. To me too, for that matter. You wouldn't slate someone as being too rich to wear a poppy. I don't see why Hamilton is too rich to object to young black men being shot by the police or to racism. Encouraging poppy wearing and encouraging taking the knee are equally valid points of view.

My problem with Hamilton is he is more on the militant side of this BLM movement without even realising it. I have to say all the taking the knee bullshit, constantly flashing up of black lives matter etc is just annoying. It has no place in sport as far as I'm concerned and does zero towards fighting racism. I just can't see what the purpose is. It really does grate that he is annoyed by fellow drivers refusing to take the knee or support BLM. I like that some have come and clarified that while they are against racism and do think all sports need to improve, they are not willing to be associated with BLM the organisation or the political standpoints they take.

Hamilton himself clarified that he does not support the politics, but can't seem to, like many others, see how confused their views are. How they've become entangled with an entirely different type of movement without realising it. Whether people like it or not the taking the knee and other symbolic gestures have become intrinsically associated with that organisation.

To be fair to Hamilton and many others, the BLM organisation was nothing short of stellar in duping millions of folk around the world. It justs goes to show what outside funding, use of the media and a deliberately ambiguous name can do. Aside from anything else there does not seem to be any goal for the likes of Hamilton. Just to raise awareness. **** me, everyone is aware mate, but until a load of old white racist dudes die out, and education continues to eradicate such views, there ain't gonna be some light on moment. Sadly its ingrained and takes a long time to unpick.

I don't think his privileges, wealth or anything else should preclude him from having an opinion or expressing it. I just don't think he has the right to judge others who don't share his opinion 100%. Using his standing to insinuate fellow drivers and former drivers are racist or lacking in moral fibre is wide of the mark. I'm sure he'd say that isn't the case, but I can certainly sense it! I bet its an emotive subject for him though, so perhaps he struggles to be completely objective about it.

I felt exactly the same about the poppy thing. No place in football and disgusting to shame people who don't agree. The treatment of James McClean for all he's ****, was shameful. How anyone could expect him to wear a poppy is beyond me. It just shows a complete lack of a rounded view on matters like that. Such a narrow view to see it only from a British perspective.

tens of millions in the UK support the poppy as a tangible recognition of those who died on our behalf.

a massive amount less (and shrinking) support the (now tainted) BLM. Some of their leaders have also come out and said some really unsavoury stuff which is why people are switching off.

get some muesli Fredd and check twitter out as it’s all 100% true and on there.

Agree. And don’t get me started on Joshua and his potentially racist suggestion that his followers only Shop at black shops... just imagine the outcry if Fury said don’t shop and a shop owned by a black man..

Nothing potentially racist about it, definitely racist without doubt.
