Billy PEH has gone and I tink Carillo will be bombed out too. I would add one of the goalkeepers to the list of players to be sold as well as the obvious names of Lemina and Hoedt. I would not be surprised if Vestergaard was sold albeit I think Ralph actually quite likes him as back up.
Nah, Carrillo never had a chance. Honestly when i saw him play, with a bit of guidance from Ralph, i think he can get as good as Ian Ormanroyd...
When the U23 games were being put out on Facebook I thought that Kayne Ramsay looked a better prospect, at right back, than Valery. It’s a shame that the lockdown stopped him from getting more experience from his loan spell at Shrewsbury.
I would like Sims and Reed to get a proper chance to be in the matchday squads next season, I think our current system would suit both of them.
I’d only want that to happen if Ralph thinks that the show him they’re good enough over the summer. If he doesn’t, move them on and bring people in he thinks can do the job he wants.
I think Sims has had his time and just needs to move on. In fairness he has looked okay at times but there is a reason he is always loaned out and never particularly impresses. Reed has at least done well whilst out on loan in a competitive league.
Does anyone know if “earthworm Jim” is ITK on TSW, he hinting there could be an announcement before the game today. Then hints it may not be transfer news. New owner maybe?
Matty Longstaff from Newcastle on a freebie anyone? Being linked with us in the media, good addition to our midfield I would suggest
Not personally convinced we need 2 CBs this window. Stephens, Bednarek, Salisu plus one of Jones/Klarer should be enough surely. Dont want us to go and sign a 4th choice CB and not sure Stephens or Bednarek deserve to be in that spot either.
Squad depth is important. Not sure Jones and Klarer will cut it TBH so I wouldn't say no to a 2nd CB. Wouldn't be against moving Stephens into a defensive midfield role either.
Jeremi Rodriguez in fact: https://tbrfootball.com/southampton-reportedly-set-to-sign-jeremi-rodriguez-from-las-palmas/
