What I find quite comical is the expectation that whoever it is will deliver more than LJ did - ie higher than top half championship. It’s almost unthinkable for some that anyone can do any worse - and yet there are more teams lower than us in the final league line-up - some of whom probably had the same expectations/demands as we had/have. Or perhaps it doesn’t matter if we do worse because LJ going was the only thing of importance? I’m preparing to be underwhelmed by both the manager signing and how we fare next season.

They are only reporting on what Talk Sport reported yesterday. That was quickly denied by Bristol Live
Both ways, I will be prepared If the new manager does well...then all good by me......but if he delivers less than LJ, I will be on it like a rash......The RR & RP out banners will be out faster than you can say "it will all end in tears"
If the new man, whoever he is gets the job, I hope he's allowed the same fiscal backing from Lansdown. Then we can judge. In the meantime isn't life wonderful
I won’t do that 1for. I will support the manager whoever he is, until I feel he has taken us as far as he can I just hope we dont fizzle out and drop to L1 like we did when GJ was replaced for, er, better options.
watching bbc local sports news they say that the club said that nobody has yet been chosen as head coach and they were still interveiwign. How come Huddersfield chose their Manager in two days and we have been three weeks and still waiting,
Bristol City legend explains the club is being meticulous in search for new head coach Head of player loans Brian Tinnion gives a view from inside the club. https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/bristol-city-legend-explains-club-4362654
If we wanted someone who’s experience is 2 years in Cyprus then I expect we would of done it quicker.
The manager coming in is in a much better place and set up compared to LJ.....So shouldn't need so much backing........Playoffs or better, otherwise it's deemed as a failure.
It's always the danger R&W. let's hope the grass is greener without LJ...if it's not, then we've only got ourselves to blame (not me by the way!!)
I can't remember where I heard but the last couple of management positions Hughton has had Paul Trollope (ex "gashead") was his number 2, imagine the joy on the darkside if he is part of the deal, makes you shudder.
Domenec Torrent has been interviewed according to OTIB. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domènec_Torrent

Not exactly clear of timings so bear with me. Ayling Flint Baker Bryan. I'd say is equal or better than Hunt Kalas Baker DaSilva. Tomlin Pack Smith Freeman. I'd say is better than any four of Nagy Smith Massengo Patterson Elliasson Weiman. Was it Kodjia back then but hard to diss Fammy and Wells because of the non service they get from the current squad. What do you think, you've watched them far more than I have. Ps - Obviously I'll give you Bentley is far better than Fielding although some on here have been saying Bentley isn't as good as we hoped.
