  2. I read as far as the first sentence, thus:-

"Irish League club Limavady United have offered Manchester City superstar Carlos Tevez an escape route from his troubles with the Premier League club..."

    and I could not continue.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen!

Agree. I won't wish playing in the Irish League on KPR.

I highly highly doubt that he'll go to the irish league, he is one of the top strikers in the world and no doubt some big club from one of the two biggest footballing continentes will come in for him.

This has got to be one of the most audacious attempts from any football team to get a player. Do they honestly believe this offer is going to be taken seriously. The Irish first division is crap, never mind the second tier.

Even if City did agree to this offer, there is no way in a million years Tevez would consider it, because there will be sides from all the top leagues in the world willing to take him on loan for a season. Tevez is arguably one of the top 10 players in the world, there is no way he is going to play in the Irish 2nd tier:biggrin:

The other thing that cracks me up, is how naive the Irish journalist is, they have written it, like it's actually a credible offer:biggrin:

Oh how tevez gilting ye all still hurts. he is half the absolute scumbag Rooney is. If Ferige hadn't wilted ye'd all be slagging Rooney off now instead of worshipping him. Well, ye are all mancs after all I suppose, par for the course eh

Free advertising for Limavady is all this is about.

Substitute Torres, Gerrard and scousers for Tevez, Rooney and mancs and the sentiment still stands. A biblical reference about planks and splinters comes to mind...
