2nd Man: He now realises he's been a ****ing idiot.

    1st Man: Why?

2nd Man: He voted Tory and Leave.

1st Man: ****ing hell that is bad. Have they got someone on suicide watch?

Polling conducted fir Labour in the lost " Red Wall" seats show that voters overwhelmingly want a deal on Brexit not a Pfeffel walk off.

Liar Johnson and his henchmen are up to no good and those who put them in power have to carry some of the responsibility. We all knew what a dangerous liability he is.

Not sure the suicide reference is in good taste whatever the circumstances, even less so currently, considering the impact COVID19 has had on many people's mental health.

This is why I think “full fact finders” should be an everyday part of politics, with no statements being left unchallenged.
In the house, for example, no MP should be allowed to leave until their comments have been verified and dishonest/inaccurate comments apologised for, so that the media only reports the truth.
Media, choosing to report the lies/inaccuracies and ignoring any corrections, should be heavily fined, with repeat offenders being fined out of existence.
Meanwhile the party faithful, listening to the untouched version, will be masturbating themselves senseless at what a wonderful job Johnson is doing.

A good appraisal of Johnson’s first year.

You're walking a very fine line toward censorship there.

In a similar way to var, many truths are subjective. And once the box of censorship is open, it would be very difficult to close it/stop it being abused by future governments.

Although I do agree with you in principal

Not just communist censorship of the media by any means it is across the board as is happening in Hungary and elsewhere now and in the past.

You do have a very good point though.

It does feel as though increasingly all politicians are less afraid to just outright lie

It also feels like most of them have lost sight of what's important: protecting the people and working to help constituents have better lives.

I mis-read 'constituents' as 'consultants'. For most MPs, helping consultants to have better lives is just part of their everyday existence.

I wouldn’t consider stopping a MP from lying, as being censorship.
Committing perjury, in a court, can be punished with up to 7 years in jail.
I just think that our MPs should be held to account and attain the same standards of honesty that is demanded from someone speaking in a court of law.

I get that some truths are subjective, but we have now reached the stage where they are staring us in the eye and repeating lies that have frequently been proven to be lies.
The only reason why they are getting away with it is because it is not punishable, and because we have become a country with low moral standards.

Brexit's coming home, it's coming! ( Home to roost) ...and probably thirty years of hurt.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately the fundamental brexiteers will close their eyes put their fingers in their ears and go la la la la la la la la la. Still needs sharing widely in the hope some minds will be changed.

Have you noticed that Johnson only goes out to meet his public in isolated places like the Orkneys because he is afraid that if he is confronted by a crowd he will be told just what a useless, lazy ****ing leader he is.

Totally choreographed to avoid being confronted by a hostile crowd. Carried on in the media as far as possible putting someone else in the firing line or selecting the questions from a sycophantic audience. His performance at PMQs when challenged by Keir Starmer is that of a petulant bully in the playground. The Jizzmeister must be challenged, heckled and forced to acknowledge his lies and deceits.

You're being very kind describing the fundamental no deal breixtears as idiots which they undoubtedly are. Jingoistic xenophobes who have the nerve to call those that support remain as unpatriotic traitors when quite the opposite applies. These are deluded and gullible fools who refuse to accept the lies, deceits and third party interference which decided the brexit vote. The historical and current refusal to investigate as requested by the ISC is a national disgrace and speaks volumes about the integrity of those concerned. Keir Starmer should state his intention, if elected, to have public judicial inquires into the cover ups.
