I'm not stirring the pot here at all but a lad from London I know is best mates with a family member of Ashley. He texted him today to ask if there was any news and the response was two words... 'deffo happening'.

Make of that what you will but this is someone VERY close to Ashley.
What do you think we should make of it?

I'm struggling......

Leave Pouchy's wife be and post proof or it's your round on the next Earl visit.

I'd say, based on that.. Ashley isn't particularly worried... which is apparently the same on the Saudi side.

In the middle you have fans and media all speculating and in the case of the media making things up for clicks (the amount of old news getting rehashed proves this).

The PL process is clearly getting dragged out but is still watertight in that there are no leaks... so how do and **** rags or third party states with an Axe to grind get their info?.... they don't is the answer.... they just try to interfere.

The more these external agitators double down on previously sent letters, statements etc... the more foolish they look.

Remember one thing.... money talks.. in life and business so it will ultimately boil down to that I'm sure.

Personally I think the Saudi's expected the season to be done by now but Covid ****ed things up. They need a clean base to build from so I expect quick movement after the season ends on Sunday. For all we know, the deal could have been passed already. Masters has already said it's for the buyer to confirm to the press upon completion. I remain convinced there was a clause relating to preservation of PL status at season end.

Have faith.
