Daily Echo reporting that PEH has agreed personal terms with Everton and that a £25m bid has been accepted by Saints: https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/1...erms-everton-saints-accept-25m-offer/?ref=rss
Looks like we called Levy's bluff - would be good for him to go to Spurs if it increased KWP chances of coming here. Although way I see it, it is up to KWP where he goes. We all know Spurs want to sell and if KWP rejects the likes of Brighton to effectively stay with us, then we will get our man. Good start to the window imo!
Genuine question, can a club pull out of a deal to sell a player to a club? E.G. if Spurs said we’ll give you £25m if you then agree to £10m for Walker-Peters, could we say no to Everton after having accepted them already?
You can do anything until contracts are signed, though teams still have to take notice of what the player wants.
25m for a player who won’t be missed from the side is a good deal. He’s a decent midfielder but has turned out to be very happy with the bare minimum so a move to Everton would be ideal.
So according to the Liverpool Echo, these reports are somewhat innaccurate and Hojbjerg still wants the move to Spurs. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...ansfer-18638814.amp?__twitter_impression=true
