Yep, the new age of the garage. Man fills it full of junk, that ‘might come in useful’. Man decides one day it’s full of junk and spends an entire weekend going back and forth to the tip. Man tidies garage, sorts out his shelves, stands back proud of his achievement. Car still won’t fit. Rinse and repeat.
Mrs is a red so OK. We can't even get the Fiat 500 in the garage there is loads of junk and my office in there!

Anyone see the BBC article about picking your all time Reds XI? The first sentence "After 30 years of near misses, some dark days and even mid-table finishes ......" Excuse me, what mid-table finishes? The last time Liverpool finished in a double figured position was in the 2nd division, 65 years ago
Mid-table is exactly what it says and we've never finished mid-table since we came back into the top division.
While it's still possible for the PL to provide eight teams for European competitions, 8th place will never be considered mid-table. Especially when you factor in the definition that mid-table is the part of the league where nothing happens to the teams for finishing there.
think it depends on points total. Unlikely but if there is 4 points from 2nd to 9th I wouldn’t class 9th as mid table. Similarly if there is 4 points separating 18th and 10th wouldn’t call that mid table as you’re in a relegation battle as bottom of the table. Id say Everton to palace at mid table atm. On their own with no Europe to play for or no relegation to worry about.
I'm afraid the BBC as we knew it, is no more. Dumbed down right across the board. There are even adverts between programmes (about their own programmes) now. It's a ****ing disgrace really. Probably the wrong thread for this PS No wonder Paxman's ****ed off, bar University Challenge.
I'm not sure it's all that bad in many areas - there are still a lot of useful and balanced articles on more serious subjects. The sports department is totally useless - but then again I don't consider sports reporting to be serious journalism anyway, never have done. The problem with most outlets these days is that an online presence gives them almost unlimited capacity, and there's just too much drivel written by people who would never have got a sniff in the days when publishing space was limited.
