Presume it's a promotion related clause. So we get £xx if they go up and he has played xx number of games. Hardly an incentive for us to win!
West Ham, Norwich and Watford are in a race to sign Ryan Manning according to Football Insider. https://www.footballinsider247.com/...watford-race-to-sign-london-club-left-footer/
Roll up, roll up!!!!! Would be nice if Naaawich could pay us 20 +million for his excellent defending and play him at right CB.
Not one for the future if true, lower league journeyman written all over him, a different club every season. 86 goals in 271 games. I’d be surprised if we were spending that kind of money on anyone. Actually I’d be surprised if we spend any money on anyone.
I sincerely hope the Kieffer Moore bid amount isn't true, my gut tells me a big downgrade on Hugill and we've panic bought based on a recent purple patch rather than looking at a CF with re-sale value. John Swift on his way to Sheff Utd for £3.5m, another superb player in this division gone for a relative pittance. Probably more of an indication of Reading's financial situation, but the market is clearly not as wild as it was 12 months ago.
He had a good spell at Barnsley He looks like a Matty Smith to me. Do not think we have much desire for the Spam £15million and Hugill (as they are same sort of player) I suspect we like the Spurs 15million and Amos and Clarke deal better
I see Bellingham has signed for Dortmund in a deal worth up to £30m, that will help with FFP, not bad for a 17yr old
Swift at £3.5m is an absolute steal. I hope it puts the BOS deal in context for those who are particularly unhappy at the selling price. The hope is that the market is deflated, so we sell cheaper than we would have hoped, but pick up players cheaper than we would have done, and on lower wages.
