Would it surprise you if I told you this was written by Jess Phillips?

The issue here is that she talks about herself and her own experiences? I don't agree with all her Politics, but I think she is a decent human being who gets a very hard time - mostly friendly fire.

It's a column about the Johnny Depp libel trial

The fact that you need to skip to the fourth paragraph to realise this says everything you need to know

Aah ok, that is a bit embarrassing. I still think she gets a tough time of it though.

    Today in Tory sleaze
    * It emerged that Matt Hancock was £350k better off as a direct result of the Cheltenham festival going ahead
    * Ruth May states she was dropped from the daily briefings for daring to think that Dominic Cummings infecting Durham for his wife's birthday was a bad thing

Just a thought, Starmer: maybe highlight these things

The Redacted Russia Report is out and the government didn't find any Russian interference in Brexit, because it didn't look for any.
Great stuff. Well done, Alexander de Pfeffel. <ok>

    It gets better:

"The ISC's inquiry covers a number of topics, including disinformation campaigns, cyber tactics and Russian expatriates in the UK - saying the UK was a "top target" for the state.

But much of the "highly sensitive" detail will not be published due to fears Russia could use the evidence to threaten the UK."

So we won't even know the scale of interference, or understand how the elections were influenced, as well as the repercussions of this, because we're scared of Russia <laugh>

By "threaten the UK", they actually mean, "threaten Tory Party funding and backhanders to their MPs".
You've got to work on your translation of Conservative to English, I'm afraid.

In other things the Tories have to try and distract from with a pay raise for doctors (but not nurses or carers)...

Get your masks on and take to the ****ing streets NOW

The house of my local (Tory) MP, who voted to put the NHS on the negotiating table, is five minutes walk from me

A place where I can buy a milkshake is ten minutes walk from me

See you all in twenty minutes, he can't stay in there forever...
