I know, it's a bit like dumping your girlfriend first when you think she shagging your mate. I mean, a friend told me that about himself.
It appears so, hopefully nothing too serious. I wonder if it was partly due to banging his head twice.
There's something more troublesome there than Pearson. A real rot in that squad. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea, but some of the things he had to put up with were really unprofessional.
Our position is clearer after tonight's results, finishing 11th or 12th. Better evertons result on the final day and 11th it is. Either way it's been a strong 2nd half of the season. Well done saints.
Not sure where this belongs, so here is as good as anywhere: Has anyone seen any info about the 20-21 fixtures? Are the 'powers that be' waiting until it is clear which teams are going to be playing in which leagues/divisions?
I'll admit that I was never a big fan of Puel, but I'm truly flummoxed that his performance with Saint-Etienne has attracted Watford's interest. They were fourth last year, and after some good initial results they have been atrocious under his watch. Had 1 win in 11 league matches to end the year and might have been spared relegation only by the suspension of the season.
Extending this, have any decisions been made about letting (any) spectators into the ground? Or will the new season start off in a similar vein to the way that this season is finishing? Empty grounds, with the occasional shout from Ralph?
