That second goal could yet be huge. Quite clearly, GD is Bmouth's only chance now. And that's assuming that every remaining game goes their way.
A win against Everton is doable, and Watford could take a massive hit to their GD against City. But Arsenal May have both eyes on the FA Cup final and gift Watford a point on the last day.
It was absolutely lovely to have a nice distraction today, then I was a bit pissed off that they equalised so late, then the football gods smiled on me. Thank you Ralph. I'm off to go enjoy reading the Bournemouth forum.
Why not?...they need a Houdini act, I don't even think they'll get a point at Everton personally, Villa have a better chance IMO.
Few on here will be young enough to remember, but Saints went to Everton last day of the season in 1974 needing to win and did. Unfortunately we were dependent on Norwich winning and they didn’t so we went down. Funny old game. Farewell Cherries
This seems the place to start: https://bournemouth-forum.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/afc-bournemouth-v-southampton.11929/page-16
Given Everton's form, I think we've got 11th pretty much secured. Given we were 18th or 19th for a significant chunk of the season that's brilliant.
I'll admit it, it was important because Bompey piss me off and they can **** right off now. Today, was hilarious. Great result with the added VAR pain that will make Skate Eddie look even closer to tears
Indeed. But now even if Villa lose to Arsenal, they might only go into it one goal behind Bmouth. And with a lead on goals scored. One goal can be made up on the final day. They just need to avoid a two/three/four goal beating by Arsenal. (Of course if they can get something against Arsenal, then all the better.)
