I think he knows that he is on borrowed time and is marking time, waiting for the bullet to claim his wedge of compo. TBH, I have a certain amount of sympathy for him. He looks a beaten man.....

    Great original post by Syd.

I would like to see Catts back in the side, Vaugan is no good when he dies not have time and space. We need our captain back

Sorry LIV, cannot agree that Catt's is the answer. The back 4 will probs be Elmo, O'Shea, Brown, KR <shudder>

I said in a post about youngsters coming through a few weeks ago that laing would play 10 games, and as we don't know if Tina is fit, it might be a decent shout to give Laing the start...... at CB, not LB or RB.

Thank you for bringing back on track, I gave up lat night and decided to just watch the telly. I have a feeling we will see Cattermole back and in a way I can understand why.

In Brucies place I would want people in there I knew would give me their all, he is no fool, despite what I read on here, and knows how important this game is. He knows in Catts he will have a player who has followed him and is 100% with him so I can see him in there. If he is I hope its in place of Gardner because I dont want Vaughan dropped, still think he is our only creative midfielder.

If Turner is fit, i'd have him in my team team anyway instead of the other one...

Don't know much about Laing, but heard good things, and if he is to play against any one, surely WBA are a good choice, they're hardly Man U or Chelsea, so maybe some game time for him...

Strikers, well we all know what we want to see, but somehow i don't think we'll get it, it'll be Sess again, and that's his downfall...

    Catts or Franky?

You never quite know but given the past couple weeks, the last in particular with the selection surprises we might just get two playing wide with Bendter / Ji or Wickham playing through the middle in 4 - 4 - 2.
This would be exciting for me. At least they couldn't be accused of lying down.

Catts if he can keep his studs facing the turf!
