On Jan Bednarek not being in the squad: "Yesterday, he had a light muscle injury and it was too risky to bring him in with a busy week so it doesn't make sense."

So I've just come to a pals house to watch the game and as I was parking up saw a lad of about 11 on a horse that was trying to throw him off. God bless Millbrook.
My only concern for this afternoon is their pace up against Vestergaard, especially if they play on his shoulder and don’t give him a yard or two head start. Best way to avoid this is to keep the ball in their penalty area/goal. We need the first half performance from Everton and the second half performance against Brighton and totally control the game for the entire 90 minutes. Not asking for much, just the consistency that Ralph wants.
Bmouth don't quite have the same luxury (for want of a better word) that we had against Swansea, in terms of knowing the importance of a win. Realistically, a draw would have done nothing for us in that game. We had to win. When Bednarek got injured with about 25 mins left, Hughes knew he had to throw on Gabbi. Realistically, a draw for Bmouth today does very little for them in terms of catching Watford. But it still does something. It caters for the possibility of Watford getting an unexpected draw. It also caters for the possibility of Villa getting four points. I personally don't think that is enough to reject sacrificing the draw, should the game be level with 10 or 20 mins to play. Playing the percentages would suggest that Watford won't get one point, and Villa won't get four points. And whether it's today or next weekend, Bmouth must win at least once. But it might be enough to prevent Eddie from sacrificing the draw? I guess only time will tell (if, that is, the game is level.)
This could be a game when Vestergaard remembers that he's a defender. He has had some good games, so the ability is there, surely?
It's the hope that kills you...I have to be optimistic, because otherwise there's no point to anything. I am on medication though, and beer so that's my excuse
