As someone who isn't a British citizen I'm not sure how she qualifies for British taxpayers money. Her father is from Bangladesh and has returned to live in Bangladesh ... ... if his daughter chose to she could represent Bangladesh in sport. But they've refused to take her, we should end all aid to them instantly.
My son in law whose been shielding since day one has just received completely out of blue a redundancy letter from his employer Balfour Beatty. He's a well paid electrical engineer and was working on the Crossrail Project in London and is absolutely gutted so are we. He thought his company having been furloughed were looking after him, he got that one wrong big style.
Sadly most big companies only pretend to care about their employees with their mass produced Christmas cards and team bonding weekends in the Lakes ... ... when the blood letting starts it's the management holding the razors.
There’s going to be a **** load of redundancy letters...most employers will not be interested in the £1k on offer to keep someone who has been on furlough until January - it’s literally peanuts. The way the furlough scheme works it pays to make people redundant now (ish) and use furlough to cover the majority of the notice costs... It’s happening all over - from August furlough starts to cost businesses - by end October it’s gone as will hundreds of thousands of jobs - then any government will have to tax the arse out of everything to pay for the support that’s been on offer...then cross your fingers we avoid a second wave in the winter... At least Donald’s resigned...
Her lawyer is Queens Council, so one of the best around. If she has that from legal Aid, it's just insanity.
Queens counsel, literally appointed by a reigning Monarch, for someone who may well be guilty of treason* *the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow the sovereign or government. If anyone can come up with anything madder than that, post it with your address and a special prize will be sent to you. First prize - One way ticket to Syria Second prize - Two one way tickets
She was one of three friends who went over together. The other 2 are dead. She had an arranged marriage with another nutter and several miscarriages. Ended up in a camp with other refugees from the idiots she went to support. If the penny hasn't dropped by now, then when will it? If she can't give up her insane adherence to ISIS then **** her. If she can accept this country's (general) tolerance for all reasonable views, religions and political opinions, then there may some hope for her. But acceptance by her first, before any possible rehab and return to the UK. Simples...
Dad is Bangladeshi, they want nothing to do with her. Husband is Dutch, they've washed their hands of her. She wanted to destroy Britain ... ... guess who'll end up giving her a council house
I’m lucky as a runner that it’s given me some time to get out and run. Without that I think my mental health would’ve been severely impacted. I’m very lucky that me and my wife are very close and loving and that we enjoy being together too.
This varies a lot per area of the country. In Liverpool they had something called the Overhead Railway which opened 127 years ago. The time it took to get from station to station (the stations are mostly still there and serviced by standard trains now) was less and it was comparatively cheaper to use. 127 years of progress...
Absolutely. That and our 2 bairns. Our neighbours haven’t had it so easy as they split up a couple of weeks ago. Mind they argued like hell before lockdown!!
