Boris Johnson abdicating the responsibility of people working back to employers.

The government has expert up to date scientific advice but some lass, with a little coffee shop, has to make the big decisions.

Horse racing, with crowds, will resume and the public will be responsible, not the government.

Leroy Logan is 'apalled' that a man is arrested, not that he's carrying a deadly weapon in a public place.

British gymnasts are 'appalled' that training is tough and the sport, at the top, is stressful.

Shamima Begum, a self declared terrorist, wants to come back to the country she wanted to destroy.

Donald Trump's neice has declared him dysfunctional, manipulated, incredibly dangerous with a psychopathic father.

The words to one of the greatest, daftest, pop song is clinically discected.

Some minor Royal married a nobody at Windsor Castle ...

... and Tom Moore rises above the whole stinking crowd with quiet dignity.

    Makes you proud.

I think the public and employers know by now what is required to keep people safe.
Let me see now. Social distancing, washing hands, face masks, etc and they should be able to make decisions for themselves.

I don't remember Ms Begum declaring herself a terrorist. She was fifteen and maybe she believed in the romance of the return of the Islamic caliphate.
She at least deserves to be heard.

    Trump. <laugh><laugh><laugh>

Her actions declared her a terrorist tbh, I doubt her kalashnikov was a fashion statement.

Even so, I believe she should be allowed to return to this country so she can show the world what a decent place it is.

Aye . . . . Boris encouraging us to take small steps in a 'walk before we run' way is completely wrong :emoticon-0148-yes:

It sounds like you think that we should remain locked down until further notice, rather than taking calculated risks and trying to restart our lives and the economy, using common sense :emoticon-0112-wonde

It's a good job that you've got no political allegiance :emoticon-0136-giggl

Well overall I think Boris and his motley crew have made a pretty good attempt of trying to do the “impossible” in spite of Starmer and the Loony Left & The Unions being ultra negative at every turn.
The country needs to get back to work as soon and as safely as possible, and I think it’s up to the population to do it as we should all know by now how we should be behaving.
So carry on Boris, you’re doing ok.

PS I am no Tory, but extremely disillusioned with Labour and there non-supportive and negativity, not only towards the virus, but Brexit anarl.

Agree on to show the world that we are a great country but then we should arrest and jail her for treason to show the world you will not take the piss out of us.

Agree MS apart from Matt Hancock. That c*nt is so so far out of his depth. Proven liar, incompetent. He's another Chris Grayling.

thinks there's a lot on here who are affected by the lockdown/covid experience.
never seen so many wanting to be affronted by any little thing plus the news coming out from our club certainly isn't helping.
trouble is there is very little in the way of distraction going on think we need rescuing by Brexit.

    I think you're right mate.

We all like to believe we're cool, calm and coping with this insanity ...

... but it's been going on for months and there's no sign of the end.

To make it worse the end simply signals the start of the terrible aftermath which, in some ways, will be worse than all the deaths. We'll all die soon enough, and many people were quite close anyway, but the effects of job losses, business closures and higher costs will last for years.

My view is that if she wants to use the British justice system, to her benefit, she should also accept the same process in trying her for any perceived crimes.

Surely no one could argue with that.

Who will be funding her appeal? Will it be the British Taxpayer? Does she need to be in this country for this appeal? Is she already in this country and the result has been decided regardless?

I'm struggling a bit mentally. Nothing too bad but you can feel it eating at you. We've been shielding so been stuck in house apart from essential trips. One toddler and two older bickering kids. Just lost my job (which ultimately wasnt a shock). I wont get something else similar as well paid for what I did and given the same flexibility my old job gave me. Me and the mrs at loggerheads. A house too small for us all and a football club that just makes you want to pull your hair out. Other than that I'm champion.
