Begum is 20 years old and still refuses to condemn the actions of ISIS. She insists that events like the Manchester Arena bombing was “Fair and just”. She now has full developed cognitive capabilities and persists with the vision she had when she was 15. Her entire case is built on her citizenship and what Javid did being unlawful, rather than remorse and a willingness to be rehabilitated.

If Shamima Begum had decided at one point that she regretted her marriage and her decision, then perhaps you’d have a case.

Got no time for her at all. She made her choice. I don't want her tried here to become the latest burden on the state. There has to be a line for me. If she was showing any genuine remorse and openly condemning the actions of those she chose to follow, then I could see why people would make a case. But she stands by her earlier assertions and shows half hearted remorse in a blatant attempt to gain entry.

In these type of circumstances, I'm not really bothered about moral judgements or the actual law, she can just get ****ed to be honest. Nothing good for this country can come from her arriving back here.
