Barnsley are a very fit side and kept it going to the death. Bit of quality up front and we would have lost.

 

I hope so because derby would just love to spoil our party

Barnsley are gone now, that was their last hurrah. They won’t compete against Brentford.

 

A win is all I care about at the moment and we got it. Doesn't sound like it was an easy ride by far and doesn't bode well that the team performance can be so impacted by one player missing. So hope we get the point but preferably points at Derby. Poetic justice.

 

Ahh but you could be wrong. Hull v luton next and charlton at wigan. Its all still to play for. Trouble is their strikers are worse than barn door bamford.

Bielsa asked if he is going to watch the Brentford or WBA game? No he is going to prepare for our next game on Sunday, analyse today’s games and use it as a reference.

Have to say. I have no love for Barnsley, but you have to feel for them. There are some sh*t teams in this league but they play good football with a young team and don’t deserve to go down.

 

And they’re like a Leeds B team - Halme , Odour, Mowatt etc.

Struber looks like a good coach and a decent guy too, unlike that insufferable arse at Swansea.

 

We’ve all done that

 

Swansea had no real intention of playing football in either game against us (and then the gargoyle had the audacity to claim their game plan worked - whose game plan is to give the opposition the ball and a thousand chances?!), at least Barnsley tried to give us a game and they looked really decent today. Shame their strikers are absolutely atrocious, although I’m very thankful for it today!

Game had nothing to do with Pirlo being out, he wouldn't have made a difference, not creative.

We were overconfident, thought it was a cake walk and played with a lackadaisical attitude. It's the end of season jitters.

Last season, last 4 games, we lost to Wigan, Brentford and Ipswich, drew with Aston Villa. 2 teams were near bottom.

Same in L1, 11 points clear ended up needing 1 point in playoffs to get promoted.

This season, last 2 games we didn't play well, Pablo and an own goal saved us.

2 games to go, playing for 1 point is different to playing for 3.

 

The Brentford super computer has us 99.7% chance of promotion.
It obviously didn't see the game.
